    Looks like the old-fashioned hand scraper is still superior.

      That's the fact, whatever you have, old fashioned ice scraper always will be the best.

    Honestly the damaged rubber is entirely in you. Common sense could have prevented that.

      I know, but that can happen to everyone using this scraper, a little carelessness and that's it.

    Plastic blades will pick up sand particles with time and scratch the glass.

    I like you used it on something other than frost. Didn't do real well on that thicker ice and snow.

    • @AliWall
      @AliWall  2 года назад +2

      Yeah, it just stop working when can't rotate blades / not enough power.

      AliWall
      it seems it’s supplied with an overload protection, maybe that’s why it stopped rotating blades when using it for big piles of snow & ice… I think I catch that in this video and being showed in instruction manual.. to clean the snow before you use the machine on ice.
      I think it did pretty well if you’d compare that with using a hand ice scrubber and the effort you put to your arms when swing them back and forth constantly..
      but I do want to know about how many cleanings you get out of it in one full charge?

      Well, that’s one purpose of it. . to let your neighbors know ..that.. (THER IS HOPE!) for the frustration & pain gained from scraping ice. Lol

    Thank you very much for your testing. I would like know your opinion? It is good or no? I think that yes, it is interest product for winter, for driver. Can you give , fox example 7 out of 10 poins?.. Thanks for you video-tests :-)

      I don't recommend to buy it. If there will be real frost then it will not scrap off ice and It's very uncomfortable to hold it. I better use regular ice scrapper with metal blade.

    It's only useful if you have thin ice on the window, other wise it takes forever

    • @AliWall
      @AliWall  9 месяцев назад +1

      That's right, and thin ice can be cleaned faster with a ordinary ice scraper.

    I go to work at 0430 in the morning, I can envisage some angry neighbours waiting for me when I got home, also looks uncomfortable to hold. Not for me, use a frost guard cover on the windscreen and let the car warming up do the rest.

    • @AliWall
      @AliWall  9 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, it's a bit loud and yes, it's uncomfortable to hold and it cannot scrape thicker ice.... I don't use it.

      Plenty of water is the winner. Even cold water will kill the ice. But lukewarm water is faster and safe. DON`T use HOT water. Use a rain repellant and it will save alot of time. Wax on wax of no big deal.
