    This turnabout was built because they could only put and off ramp to an exit on one side of the highway, so traffic coming in the other direction has no exit. In order to take that exit they have to keep driving and use this turnabout to go back in the opposite direction and then be able to access the off ramp.

  • @Renatodonadio
    @Renatodonadio Год назад +86

    I think they did that mainly to allow people to reach an exit that could only be easily built on the other lane, like we have on the intercity highway in Naples, Italy, obviously u-turning comes as an added possibility 😀

    China is a nation that deserves credit and admiration as it develops day by day and contributes to the advancement of the world by investing projects in many countries. Iraq was one of China's concerns in building, ageing and renovating infrastructure, electricity and all life necessities, but neighboring countries do not want a developed Iraq with China's help. Also, Washington does not want China to invest in Iraqi projects in spite of China's openness to the Middle East. As a result, the government of Abdul Mahdi, which has put cooperation and investment with China in its in a state of cooperation and investment, has fallen. The lives of many people are terrible because of those highways and the dependency on cars.

      @@dlazo32696 yes, i have. Its awful there. People love it there because they were born there or in similar cities and they dont realise how bad it is compared to transit centric cities. The fact that you're saying you drive anywhere just proves that you're dependent on it. American suburbs are terrible because suburbs are for people who cant affors to live in the city center, so tjey go to suburbs, but to get to the city to the suburbs, you need a car, because the only way to get there is by highway. Do you see the problem? If you make people live far from the city for cheap housing, they will need to get to the city, but if the only way to get to the city is by car, then you'll need to buy a car and cars are expensive to have which mean that its impossible to live cheaply because you will always end up having to expend or on a car or on a good apartament in the city. People come to the city looking for jobs. Its a big growing city so obviously people come to look for work or to start a company. No one is there because its great to live there, but because you can make lots of money there.

I don't know the communistic system though. for example IS there such a thing as private property? what about their healthcare system? private ownership? Karl Marks came up with it. allegedly a classless society the state owns everything. the problem though is that really smart people are at the same level in society as really stupid people. this only works if everyone has a 100 IQ. but in reality we need people that dig ditches and people that design bridges or whatevers & by definition not belonging to a "class" isn't very realistic its wishful thinking.Communism tries to place everyone in the same box. Yeah. The description in English actually makes no sense as to what this video is other than a u-turn on a highway. 😁
      Plus, aren't all roads built with a humanized design? 🙃

      the problem here in the states is we still have a lotta rural. it IS declining but where I live having a vehicle is an absolute must or you're gonna starve to death. as an 80yo longtime retiree that lives alone I need wheels that work more than ever because of the aging populous that I'm right in the middle of.

      No there is only one. It allows using the only exit ramp there is in this locality by going back in the other direction for 500m. That's what the final green sign in the video is implying.

      This turnabout was built because they could only put and off ramp to an exit on one side of the highway, so traffic coming in the other direction has no exit. They have to keep driving and use this turnabout to go back in the opposite direction and be able to access the off ramp.
