I don't know how many people actually watch these as opposed to just listening, so for those interested at 23:58 there are 2 pictures shown related to that part of the conversation.
I'll take this opportunity to thank everybody who so generously donated after last episode, both through RUclips and also via the donation link in the channel.
Thank you so so much and I hope you enjoy this conversation with Jordan!

I watch Marco's streams at 3-4 am EST when I cannot sleep and the quality of wisdom and advice he gives is just phenomenal. I have said it to him many times but he is truly an inspirational person, both him and Viper. Amazing role models, not just for a university student like me 11, but for anyone. They view life in such a rational and sensible way, and I think everyone should adopt that mindset. Great interview as always Nelson and it was so nice hearing the two of you talk about the personal aspects of your lives! I think we can learn a lot from Jordan and the way he "changed" his life around to be happy and content :)

This community is unique, there is almost zero toxicity among players, casters and even casual watchers. Jordan you are an inspiration to me and I have mentioned this on your stream as well. Being a father I can imagine what you and Nelson both must have gone through. Wish both of you only the very best going forward. And as a father I can not wait to give my son the gift of AoE2.

  • @PatataMaxtex

I can not imagine the pain and stress one has to experience when your kid is born so prematurely. You only see them in the hospital, they fight for their life all the time and around you are other babies in a similar situation might even die and everytime you see that you know that your bany could be the next. I am really happy that your kids are doing well now. If they do half as well as the Interview are, they must be really happy kids.
Jordan and Viper being the best players at a certain point in aoe2 history and also being very good friends is such an aoe2 thing. When aM and then Secret were the best teams it could have been a heavy rivalry with a lot of fights. But instead they were all friendly, had fun together and played with each other outside of tournaments. I love it

I don't like just saying some phrase. The fact that I am writing a comment shows how much I enjoy and appreciate your work.
I'm pondering what to say since I watched it yesterday. Maybe something about my take on talent vs work? Nah, that's just going to be depressing. Or how unimaginable fragile 24 week old life must be compared to my own experience of holding 4kg 'fragile' life in my arms.
Eh, whatever, love the interviews, love your activity in the comments, don't let anything ever (again? *cough* redbull *cough*) dampen your motivation.

Considering what Jordan himself said about hard work prevailing against talent, I think he's closer to surpass Liereyy rather than Hera. Hera is such a grinder. Liereyy is very talented, but I don't think he put enough hard word in comparison with the other three in the top.
