Demon Slayer Season 3 review, how does it compare to the previous season? To some, the Swordsmith Village arc may feel decidedly shorter than the Entertainment District Arc due to the fights taking up most of the time.

in the manga, Mitsuri was trained by Kyojuro ( Rest In Piece ), but since flame breathing wasn't suited for her she developed love breathing, it's a branch from flame breathing. It's the same for Muichiro as he learned Wind breathing but it didn't suit him so he created Mist breathing. Hope this information help 😀😀😀

The last episode of season 3 was by far my favorite Demon Slayer episode thus far. This episode alone made me like this season just a tad bit more than the last season.
Gotta give it to episode 8 of season 3 for me. Muichiro destroying Gyokko was hilarious

Apparently,Mitsuri was trying to learn flame breathing from Rengoku but she wasn't able to so she created love breathing instead.

I love watching these as someone who read the manga. Because there's quite a few things you mentioned where you were like "wtf" but it gets explained later.
Personally I never really cared for Mitsuri, but I've always loved Muichiro. It's just interesting because his personality isn't really his personality since he has amnesia. His relationships are also just interesting.
We literally can't choose whether Season 2 is better or Season 3-

Yeah It was weird for me too that Muzan became a demon Out of nowhere 💀 I asked for explanation from my friends and they had no idea too. Isn't it just weird that he used to have some medicines and when he stopped taking them (cuz he killed the dr. who was making them💀) he suddenly attained demonic powers 💀 and became Michael Jackson and he can use his blood to turn anyone into a demon (is he Hawk moth that he can know who is having the worst life ever so that they can become villains and when they're about to die their very tears dropping sad emotional backstory can be showed?)
Sorry if I misunderstood but the doctor that was treating Muzak was determined to cure him of his mysterious illness. He tried everything and all kind of experiments but it didn’t work he then tried to use the rare blue spider lily but once he started to give Muzan this medicine he killed the doctor cause he was so angry that nothing worked. It then turns out the blue spider lily was working it just took some time. To cure muzan the doctor turned into a demon with that medicine he created but Muzan killed him before it was complete. So Muzan have to live with the side effect of not being able to live under the sun.
That’s why he is trying to find the blue spider lily to complete the treatment or create other demons like him to find one who has the genetic to conquer the sun.

“How did Gyokko find the village in the first place”
Say I’m not a hundred percent sure of this but from what I understood, not being read the manga, Muzan can basically read all of the demons minds, that why he knew that nezuko had finally conquered the sun light, he knows the location of each one of his demons so with nezuko in the village I kinda understood how Muzan would know it’s location-
it’s a good theory but muzan can’t read nezuko’s mind since she’s one of the few demons that aren’t under his control or curse (like tamayo). apparently when hantengu’s eye was fading he saw nezuko conquer the sun and that’s how muzan knew. i’m not exactly sure how they found the village though, might have to do some digging for that. muzan doesn’t know nezuko’s location either since, like i said before, she isn’t under his control or curse btw.
so i looked it up and there seems to be 2 theories that i could find - gyokko was searching around that area for humans or the village and found it by accident, or muzan unintentionally sold one of gyokko’s pots to one of the people in the village and gyokko teleported though his pots and found the village.
There is a theory that a sword smith bought one of Gyokko’s vases and Gyokko teleported to it thus finding the sword smith village :)
The best part of this season was Muichiro roasting Gyokko

I am a Demon Slayer fan, but to be honest this was the weakest season of Demon Slayer so far.
Firstly because of the characters. Mitsuri and Muichirou were never very interesting characters, they were quite normel characters, frankly. And Gyokko and Hantengu were written in a superficial way, and they weren't good enemies at all.
Secondly, because of the action and the fights.
A complete season of 11 episodes, and I personally don't remember a single fight that was as great as the first season, the second, or the movie. All the fights in this season were from ordinary to good, as the best estimate. Even the production was clearly weaker than the first two seasons.
In the end, the season was fun, but it isn't as good as the previous seasons, in my opinion, and I rate it 8/10.

I liked the first and the last episode. I enjoyed seeing the demons and I enjoyed what they did with Nezuko it’s kinna pay off for how long she starved herself. But agree with the rest.

⚠️SPOILERS: What’s weird about love breathing to me is that Rengoku was Mitsuri’s mentor like how did she get love from flame??????
Love breathing is a branch breathing from flame breathing.
Mitsuri trained under Rengoku but she wasn’t able to learn flame breathing. It was too difficult for her and it didn’t fit her so during a mission Rengoku fought the previous lower moon one while Mitsuri was running around the city trying to defuse bombs lower moon one scattered. On her way she had to fight shadow monsters (lower moon one’s blood demon art) and in that instant to realize with her special body she can create her own breathing style. Using her relaxed, flexibility, and strength she was able to create love breathing

Season 3 fights were amazing but when tokito was fighting gyukko I was like 'why mu in muichiro stands for savage' 😂😂

Muichiro is definitely my favorite character in all of demon slayer
I loved the last episode of season three so freaking much…. And also the obanai and mitsuri scene has my heart… also when Tanjiro did hinokami kagura in 5th episode it was a awesome🔥🔥
Demon slayer is my favorite anime so my expectations may have been alittle too high. But I hated how little Mitsuri was around. I would’ve loved to see more of her and especially more interesting things of her. I also hated how long he was stuck in the bubble. And I hated that scene where Tanjiro just screams after the demon instead of running. All three just stand there and Tanjiro screams. I was like DUDE HURRY UP PLEASE. Idk I really enjoyed the first and last episode but everything in between felt alittle off maybe I also just miss zenitsu and inoske idk. :(

Honestly yes Gyokko was weaker than expected but that's only because Muichiro awakened his mark, before he did that he was struggling but after that it was easy because that's what the mark is supposed to do it makes you more powerful, and hantengu's ability feels pretty useful and powerful, they probably should have traded ranks honestly, he splits himself so you got four opponents with their own unique abilities and even if you can decapitate all of them you've still got a fifth tiny one hiding around, and the the four combine into another demon that can use all of their powers combined plus his own with the wooden dragons, and then there is yet another demon that's essentially a bigger version of the tiny one that is meant to protect the tiny one, he's super difficult to beat. And do not disrespect mitsuri, one the girl struggled with her strength, her looks, and her eating habits, she basically started starving herself to make herself weaker and died her hair black to fit in because her original fiance wanted nothing to do with her and said not even an animal would marry her, she tortured herself and then when was about to marry someone she realized she didn't want to hide her true self. As for love breathing it's a breathing style she made all on her own like how Muichiro created mist breathing, love breathing is derived from flame breathing as she was training as rengoku's tsugoku but she realized flame breathing didn't fit her, love breathing is specifically designed for her unique body composition and only she is able to do it, her muscles are ten times denser than that of a normal human so she looks weak but is very strong, love breathing uses her immense strength and incredible flexibility to create a brand new breathing technique and it's incredible. Sure mitsuri's backstory may not be as sad and tragic but not all of the backstory's need to be, she still had her own struggles and hardships she had to face and over come, Mitsuri is an absolutely sweetheart and I love her

When I reached this part of the manga, I decided to stop reading it because it felt sooooo slow, (of course I came back to finish it after two month long pause), I understood that the reason behind this was Muichiro and the redundancy of the story. Overall, i liked this season, not my favorite, but the last episode made up for all the slow pacing and the annoying blunt events. And btw, season 2 is my favorite along side with the movie that no matter how many times I rewatch it, it is still enjoyable.
IMO season 3 of DS had some contradictions and things that are not that logical according to the anime’s logic especially the episode of Nezuko becoming immune to the sun but overall I think it was still great and the animation was the best. Oh and Billy, you deserve the recognition 👏 and you have a beautiful smile 🥹

To everyone who’s wondering why Hantengu and Gyokkonwas a bit weaker than Gyotaro it’s because Gyotaro is stronger than them. Back in S2 Muzan said that Gyotaro could’ve become stronger and defeat Tanjiro and Tengen if Daki wasn’t there to hold him back.
Gyotaro first priority was Daki so he never focused on rising the ranks.
He only became stronger to protect his sister while Hantengu and Gyokko only became stronger to please Muzan.
Gyutaro was not stronger than them
Nah nah nah wait a minute wait a damn minute cause I am like 200% sure in like season 1 and season 2, I found out from somewhere that the creator of demon slayer said the water and fire in tanjiros water breathing and hikami kagura, sun breathing were just special effects only the viewer could see and it wasn’t actually there but I’m also 200% sure, and I concentrated on this part especially when Muichiro uses his mist breathing in Gyokkos second form, istg Gyokko says that he can’t see from all the smoke, so is it actually special effects or what I have no idea any more?!

Nah bro i know these mf's aint saying "season 1,2,MT,3" were better we put our expectations way too high with out realizing that the first three and the movie had to be like that due the insane development of the characters like tanjiros demon slayer mark or rengokus death(R.I.P sweet prince🕊️) which made the three-o want to do better and get stronger. The sword smith village is meant to be like that because it was a random point which needed filling imagine Infinity Castle without knowing why Nezuko can walk in the sun and why upper 4 and 5 are not there its a point thats all and of cause the only reason people are saying it was bad was because they never got to see the full Mitsuri bath scene, My opinion it was great in all aspects that it needed to be in.

Honestly love it , but I wished there was more to this season and more elaborated as some things just left me on a cliffhanger and screentime on other characters as well
The reason why gyoko was in the village was because of nakime because she teleported them
She can only teleport them to places she know about. The village was very well hidden. Uppermoon one said so and if she could Muzan wouldn’t have any trouble finding Ubuyashiki
If you haven't watched goblin slayer yet you should theres 1 season so far and theres another season called goblins crown but in the anime it's like demon slayer but the fights are like GET TF UP YOUR GONNA DIE every damn fight and they have so many fights and the fights always finish in one ep so they can add in more and more fights so yeah try it out😊

Tbh hotaru looks much so much better in manga then anime the animation in smoothness is good when it comes to character looks it dont do much justice, same goes for inosuke, giyu and tenjin i mean they are good in anime but in manga they felt more and good and have better looks, i liked hotaru really in manga interms of looks but in anime he felt off tbh, and yup and this season probably was off, i didnt even watched full, i have alresdy read manga 2 yr ago so dont really invest much on anime

The reason why Gyokko and Hantegu felt weaker was that they were.
Gyutaro was upper moon 6 and not upper moon 4 because his weakness was the presence of his sister and her safety, he even shared a part of his power with her.
If here sister was to die or wasn't there. he would have been upper 4 easily
