I am from the USA. After getting my DNA results I discovered my ancestors are Nigerian, the Esan people, Kenya the Luhya tribe, and the Mende of Sierra Leone. I am still trying to process all this, but what a great feeling to know who your people are.
@@edonimosetotheworldtv Thanks. I am planning a trip to Sierra Leone soon. It is easier to know where you are going when you figure out where you have been. God save Africa.
Hi, have Esan by ancestry of the Afro-Caribbean-UK descent. I am learning about the Esan people. There is a book I would like to get but is difficult to find. It was written by Christopher Gbelokolo Okojie, entitled, Esan Native Laws and Customs: With Ethnological Studies of the Esan People. Published by Ilepeju Press, Yaba, Nigeria, 2004. Could you assist me in getting this book?
@@edonimosetotheworldtv I would like to get an original hard back copy, either published in 1960, or the republished one in 1994. I was sent a paperback copy which turned out to be a review by Dr (chief) J. E. Arhuidese, which I found disappointing, as I had ordered Christopher Okojie's original book!

The Benin migrated from the great Esan, and Benin's spoken language is part of Esan's many dialects.
