    Solid Checklist! I honestly replace my C02 hoses every time I refill my C02 cannister (4-6 months). I have an ungodly amount of it that I ordered too much of by accident one year.

    Hi, regarding BGA treatment at 7:24. Could you please tell me more about this treatment? What kind of solution are you injecting directly into the soil? So far I heard only about the solutions that you would pour into the water flow. Is this the same solution just different application? Would love to get to know more about this, perhaps other might find it useful as well. Love the channel. Greetings from Slovakia.

    Idea for a next video: A common issue encountered by beginner aquarium enthusiasts is the proliferation of algae. Despite their good intentions to maintain proper care by dosing fertilizers and algaecides, many are unaware of how to accurately calculate the volume of their tanks. Through my experience mentoring numerous aquarium hobbyists, I've observed that a significant portion are unaware of essential details such as the total weight of stones, the mass per stone, the amount of soil, and the volume inside the canister filter. This information is crucial for determining the total volume of the tank and ensuring precise dosing. Without this knowledge, enthusiasts often find themselves either overdosing or underdosing their tanks, leading to algae problems.

    Thank you for sharing, I will forward it to my friends. I wash my hands and arms before I put my hand inside the tank, I find cleaning the hose is the most troublesome task to do. I like the tiny snail remover tool.

    To the wildlife section, I would add removal of the exoskeleton shed by the shrimps. What do you think about it?

  • @stuartreed37

    Just a comment for people watching who might be in a different situation to Green Aqua, they have to keep tanks looking pristine because it's a gallery but in reality, algae and mulm are good for the tank ecosystem and you don't have to be as careful as this. Look at for example the habitats shown on Biotopia channel, the fish are in habitats with algae on most plants. Nothing against pristine tanks but most people don't need it that way :)

    Had a high tech tech tank in the past, chemicals for this, chemicals for and that, nothing but problems and algae . Moved to a deep substrate natural aquarium, sand over dirt, no co2 and all my problems are gone with no algae and all i have to do is top up the water and clean my external filter every couple of months. The best ideas are the simplest.

    I want to know about Pinatifida growing without Co2 in low maintenance tank. Can you provide any suggestions about it??

    • @AR13998
      @AR13998 10 месяцев назад

      6-14mg/Liter CO2 for pinnatifida is OK. Thats from the tropica Website. Check your water Ph and KH than u know what u have one the CO2 Level. If you have under 6 you need CO2 system

    If you really really want your panes be as clear as possible you should not use kitchen towel since it will leave a slight oily coating behind. You can see this even better from the inside of your car when you look at the front window. Use paper for nose cleaning instead, that's absolutely pure paper if it did not come into contact with odors like menthol or other.
