    Just to clarify, in the video I mentioned I used black coffee in the hair tea but I actually meant BLACK TEA. So keep that in mind 😊. I’ve linked all products in the description box
    Also someone mentioned how neat my twists look after so long but it’s only like that because sometimes I do retwist each individual twist when I’m moisturising my hair. I do this so I don’t have to wear a scarf as they now give me headaches. I also don’t wear wigs so I’m forced to retwist if I want to look decent for church etc😅

    New to your channel and you’re a lady after my own heart! I’m all about layering products, and weighing my strands down, Ayurvedic teas and oils, butters, etc. My scalp spray consists of MSM, tea tree and rosemary essential oils. I, too only wash my hair every 3 months and the spray keeps my scalp clean. Every other week I’ll rub some black soap on my scalp as well. I keep my hair in plaits and put in a top bun. I’m amazed at how well your twists keep together with little frizz! But girl, we almost have identical regimens at the moment! I’m a mom of two small ones and time for my hair is rare. 😅 Great video and thanks for sharing! 🌺

      Oh my goodness!! I love this 😍. Our routines are definitely very identical apart from the bi-weekly washes. I stay away from washing in protective styles because my hair gets really matted as my shrinkage is Insane. So until I figure that out, I will refrain from washing till I have time to fully take down my hair. I also have 2 kids and it’s really a madness 😭😂. Thank you for watching and sharing your routine 💕

      Oh I’m like you, I can’t wash my hair in a protective style ether! I just rub a little bit of black soap with the pads of my fingers and then spray a bit of water on my scalp afterwards. If I washed and drenched my hair with water while in plaits or twists, my hair would be a matted mess! 😅

      @LimitlessBloom. Hey girl! 👋 I’m back to report an update! So, I told you I couldn’t wash my hair in a protective style, and that’s still holds true for twists of any size. BUT, I decided to try washing my hair in plaits, as that’s how I’ve been protective styling for the last 5 months. Girl, success!! In plaits, my strands don’t move as much so much less tangling and matting occurs. Of course I stay on top of refreshing my plaits once a week to keep from excessive matting and tangling, but this has changed my hair game forever! I washed, conditioned and applied my oil, cream and butter. I let them mostly air dry, then the next day, I took them down and replaited. I’m planning on washing in plaits every 6 weeks. But im still glad we have a way to extend washing to 3 months when life gets busy! I just wanted to share with you. 😄🌺

      @A_Wilson ohh I love this 👌🏾. I’ve been thinking of trying plaits for sure but I don’t like the look of them on me lol they shrink and don’t have much body/volume as my twists. But will definitely give it a go and let you know how it goes. Also after you moisturise and let it air dry, do you still moisturise the next day when you take them down to refresh the plaits? And do you find that your hair is cleansed properly? My hair is never cleansed properly in any protective style even loose twists so there’s that too. Have to wash loose in sections then twist😢

      Thank you sis💕. It will work like a treat even if you only use glycerin and your rose water for now 👌🏾. Also you don’t have to use every single herb I used in the tea. If you only have one , that will work too 😘

    Love your video .❤ Is indigo powder black henna?

    • @LimitlessBloom
      @LimitlessBloom  7 месяцев назад +1

      Is indigo the same as black henna?
      When it was sold to dye cloth, it was called indigo. There are are still many boxes of indigo in stores marked "black henna" as a legacy of this old misnomer. Some boxes of "black henna" are real indigo. Some boxes are cellulostic material and PPD, para-phenylenediamine, a hazardous aniline (coal tar) dye.
      www.hennaforhair.com/indigo/#:~:text=When%20it%20was%20sold%20to,aniline%20(coal%20tar)%20dye.
      So it seems they can be used interchangeably but they are 2 different things. Black henna is toxic and indigo is not.
      Hope this helps. Thank you for watching 💕

    • @LimitlessBloom
      @LimitlessBloom  3 месяца назад

      Hi I’ve done a thorough video about deep conditioners and protein treatments. What they are, the difference between them and I think I even go into possible routines on when to use which one based on how often you wash your hair. So I’d suggest you watch it. It also has timestamps so you can move to the parts of the video that interest you. Here’s the link :

      To answer your question though protein treatments are advised to be used every 6-8weeks

    How do you massage your hair and keep it neat so you can wear it out.

    • @LimitlessBloom
      @LimitlessBloom  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi, so after moisturising my hair and scalp, I tie it down with a scarf overnight. I usually do this routine on a random evening before bed. Tying the hair overnight, I wake up with really smooth and neat twists. However on an evening that the twists are untidy or if I’m going out in the next couple of days, I will retwist my whole head but this probably happened once a month. I hope this helped. So during this 3 months period I think I retwisted twice. Sorry I forgot to share this in the video but I shared it in a pinned comment above.

    I’m assuming that’s a tablespoon of each ingredient am I correct? How much water?

    • @LimitlessBloom
      @LimitlessBloom  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes and a cup of water or however much you want to make. I just eyeball it really. I’ve recently just started making it in a medium sized teacup as I realised I was making way too much for my hair. If you do that then I suggest you use teaspoons of each herb or even less.

  • @mcann-smith5378
    @mcann-smith5378 7 месяцев назад

    You used all the herbs in one oil and the second oil you used all the herbs except for henna and hibiscus?
