In other tv shows usually the kids would be punished by either a parent or teacher. I guess having a bad day and finding out there was a surprise carnival day and missing was punishment enough.
True but the copy right issue in RUclips is out of control. 10 years ago it was allowed but now, no. If they showed the episode, this account would get taken down.
I heard my mom played hookey and then granny who was a school bus driver found out, And then she grounded her for doing it. I’m glad I never did that in my life.
In this episode, I thought it was Gerald's fault for them skipping school and Arnold was reluctant to do it and then Gerald talked him into it and their day of fun turned into a disaster starting with the amusement park when they bumped into the janitor who was close friends with Principal Wartz, then the baseball game and they appeared on the jumbotron, then the movie theater and Arnold's grandfather was there with the lazy Oskar Kokoshka and Arnold's grandfather didn't call Principal Wartz, Arnold did on the payphone to lie to him by acting as him and Gerald asking Arnold if they had jobs and Arnold's grandfather is retired and Oskar is lazy bum and don't work, then they go to a costume store and get falsely arrested by the police and the real suspects got arrested and then they go back to school and it seemed to be the end of the school day and Stinky tells them they had a surprise carnival day and Arnold and Gerald played hookey and had a miserable time and if they went to school, they would've had the day off and had a great time. The moral to the story is stay in school.

(General in the movie)
“Remember kids, stay in school! Education is a terrible thing to waste! To waste! To waste”
Silly but for a great moral!
This episode may be similar to Rocket Power’s Snow Day, but at least it’s the lesser of two evils with that episode in my opinion.
I hope they make an episode of Kiff like this where Kiff & Barry do something like this.
How do you mistake two 9 year olds for two criminals?
Stupidity, that's how.
Why was Arnold worried that his grandpa and Oskar would care about him and Gerald playing hooky? He knows how eccentric they are.
I mean, they got to ride the rollercoaster at least once. That’s cool.
At 10:58 the moral is stay in school.
It would be even better if they had the video for this!!!🤷♂️🤷🤦♂️🤦
I don't mind the audio, but Hulu took this season off and I would like a video as well.
