I must disagree that it is a beautiful yacht. The interior needs a complete refit. The styling is unattractive. Why so much black? Some of the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen were Italian designs, but some of the worst interiors I have ever seen were also Italian designs. This yacht, to me, falls into the latter category.
@@kokomo9764 If you're in the market for a yacht this size you probably have the money to refurbish it to your liking. There were bits I really liked and others I would do entirely different like the ostentatious bar that takes up way too much room in the lounge and as you said get rid of some of the black around the windows. If you really want something horrible check out the Hanstaiger X1, looks like leftover sets from an 80's TV series.

Also, I don't like at all that the seating bench/area by the jacuzzi is unfortunately facing the opposite way instead of looking forward on the bow! Big no! Huge mistake!

The Mangusta 165 "Serenity" was my introduction to the 165, but this one I much prefer because of the style & coloring. Very emersive & well-coordinated. The only thing I would do is refit the gym into another stateroom. LOVE IT!

I love your tours, the only thing I'd suggest is slowing it down when possible. I know you are often pressed for time and/or working around other people so it is not possible sometimes. Thanks for the uploads, I will continue to watch and like your videos!

@Susan Sutton It is not even close to brand new. It is very dated. I agree with Tom C that it has a 90s feel. A complete interior re-design is needed. I expect that an interior refit would cost on the order of 1 million. I am sure that it needs an audio/visual systems upgrade as well. To me, it looks like a fixer upper.

Lol, ive spend several days onboard Apricity in 2019-2020, and that boat was in AAA condition. Was on board when they moved her to LMC for scheduled maintenance. No cutting corners on budgets, everything was spotless.

Great tour as usual. I love the layout and as you said not a lot going on. I like the simplicity and have room to move around. The only thing I don't like is all the dark colors. I am not a big fan of gray. Looking forward to next Friday.

I went ahead and subscribed. :) Your videos are getting better, but try to pace yourself a bit more. It still feels like you're rushing through the tour. If you're not already watching them, be sure to watch David from Yachts for Sale, Victoria and Rico from Nauti Styles, and Nick from Aquaholic. See how their pacing is much more relaxed and the camerawork is more steady. Anyway, I look forward to your next yacht video!
If I play the video at half speed I get a good feel for the details. Interesting that it has no kitchen, it must be one of those Uber eats boats Iv'e heard about.
Thanks for the feedback. I am a naturally quick talking/moving person so I have to actively work on slowing down. Also, I often have limited time on board to film so sometimes I need to keep things moving even if I want to go slower. There will definitely be some videos in the future where I move too fast and others where it's a slower pace. As the channel (hopefully) grows, that should afford me a bit more time to film how I want to in the future. Thanks for watching!
While I think that the Palmer Johnson 170 DB9 has a nicer and more elegant interior, I give the Mangusta 165 the edge on exterior styling and sleekness. Both are amazing yachts though.
I guess for it to sleep 10 you would have to sacrifice the gym area? I only counted four cabins including the master. So at the moment it only sleeps eight.
I do like the flybridge because there's very little wood on it Wood on the outside of the yacht only creates a maintenance nightmare The teeth they put on the back of the deck and around is just enough to make it look good but not so much to make it a true maintenance hassle
If this was my yacht and it was on show , I’d make sure all the toilet seat lids where closed - in the down position. It looks really shabby to have them open.
This yacht was actively crewed so I wasn’t able to film their areas. The door aft of the bar in the main salon leads down to a large galley but it’s part of the crew area so I couldn’t capture it for this tour. Thanks for watching!
If I were to order that yacht brand new I would order it with the same power plant that it has but 2 extra 500 horse powered diesel Port and starboard side Hooked up to conventional gearboxes shaft and propeller and that's so you can also run the boat at troller speeds like a NordHaven or a Bearing yacht

Mangustas are so beautifully laid out and chic! I especially love the mosaic tilework in the two non-VIP guest cabins. Just gorgeous.

Basically yes. I believe the standard layout is to have that space as another cabin. The gym is a custom option.
