All the love to Jennifer Carpenter for bringing such a riveting and heart crushing portrayal of Debra to our screens! While the show is returning this fall with additional episodes, it's unclear if she'll be involved -- and even if she's not, what she gave over eight seasons of Debra Mogan is cemented in my memory.
Also -- I'm so glad, despite some wanting it to happen, that these two never got together romantically on the show. I think their story is so much more interesting left purely as siblings. Because the truth is, relationships between siblings can be very complicated and hurtful even under the best of circumstances... under their circumstances? Ouch.
What if you want someone you love to fully let you in and show their truth -- but then their truth destroys you? That's what resonates from the complexity of Deb's pain during her final two seasons. Heartbreaking...

awesome video! I know a lot of work went into it. Debra Morgan was the soul of the series. I think she deserved a happier ending after what she's been through during the show. But I appreciate the impact of the final episode of season 8. It was really heartbreaking. And I don't understand the hate the show received for it. Jennifer Carpenter deserves so much more recognition for bringing this character to life. What a great actress she is.

Me too!!!! I’m intrigued to see where things go with Deb as his new Harry. Their scenes in the premiere were great!! Definitely going to need to edit them more ❤️

@@7KellProductions yes omg I was blown away by the scene with them in bed together. Like we wanted that so bad back when dexter was originally airing and BAM they give it to us first episode of the premiere. Can’t wait to see your new edits!
