My primary love language is touch but i do like to be complimented and time together although i dont want to spend all my time with a Man as i want time with friends and family seperate and together
This resonates so much. When I say something mushy to my partner (who is not great with expressing emotions) I always feel a little afraid and a little embarrassed. But I just remind myself if he’s the right one for me he will appreciate it and understand it’s me. And he does! It has helped him feel more comfortable being open and vulnerable as well. I want all in and that means I have to be open and vulnerable and honest and not hold back, and that’s what I’m doing!

If you knew how humans get treated and what kind of traumas they receive ( similarly to war traumatic experiences ), you would know...that just overcome fears is not that easy, like you think it is. Human primates, like other primates cause very deep traumas ( if you survive it literally ). Some primates are very dangerous and it is not because they have personality disorders, but because it is enbedded in their DNA. Just wipe everything under the carpet, putting away their mouth straps..., does not cover the huge issues we have as humans with other humans. Love is seldom found, altho it exist between people. But most of the times, you will not find someone good for you and safe for you. Again, we are primates, among other primates and humans are not that friendly to eachother. So that is why, you have to vet extensively the other party, if that person is even capable of love, care, commitment, real deep friendhip, compability, having a good brain, capable to grow individually and in togetherness. Being a team, having eachothers back thru think and thin. Capable to build a solid family. Being truthful, genuine, warm and compasionate. Money has btw nothing to do with it. If someone states, money is a big thing when you meet eachother and other useful things, you will lose. A real friend does not look at your figures or mansion. Together building wealth is key here. I can’t keep up with all the annoying and meaningless text I receive I try to be kind and respond to all and I don’t know how to say sorry we aren’t a fit without seeming rude. Someone you feel good to be open & honest with is another thing on the list & how comfortable you are revealing the good, the bad & the ugly to them but not overwhelmingly so. Yes, you matter! Definitely put eachother up on the pedestal. I would make the other party important too. I become cautious about those stating anything is first priority and I would never treat someone's children as if I'm in competition with them... I never had even thought of doing that, but I've seen in it and don't overdo it...oh & BBQ- if. What kind of time frame to introduce younger children to a partner and how to about this. We've been dating 8 months. See each other a minimum of 3 days a week. We need to express our feelings, be affectionate and touch each other, be vulnerable (the hardest one), etc. We need to learn each other's love language and act accordingly. I had my partner just break up with me yesterday after 3 months, he said he wasn’t feeling emotionally connected with me. I had a difficult time dealing with this, because he couldn’t handle any touch when in bed at night. No sex either at night. He didn’t enjoy kissing because he said women kiss with no real love associated with them. I wanted to have an honest open conversation with him and he said that never works so he didn’t believe in it. What could I have done differently? I’m hurting so much. This was my first relationship after 8 years being a widow.
I say be thankful it’s over as the guy was messed up in his thinking !! You deserve so so so much better !! I know you’re hurting and you most likely will miss the good in your relationship, but if he couldn’t even kiss ya…he Has issues that he needs to get over. He would Have brought you down over time.
