There is a considerable amount of CGI in Demon Slayer (I think) cause it’s made by Ufotable who does amazing work with CGI

Such a good scene. excelling pacing some great effects, some tension.
People who said this is bad because they wanted the main male character to shine, or they were comparing this to konosuba due to both anime were made by the same studio, while they are completely different animes in all ways.

Princess connect is more about the squad as a whole, about their relationship and interaction, having the male being the good boy good child rather than an op main character who carries the entire team. This show has no lewd jokes, no harem, no fanservice, no big jokes. If you want something that has cool fight scenes with op mc or wants big laughs, this is not for you. But if you want something simple slice of life that warms your heart and gives you smiles, this is a great anime.
I don’t think that’s what people are mainly complaining about. It’s mostly about how the main story is told. It’s nothing like the game’s story. The game story is more rich.
This slice of life is trying to throw main story elements in at random which feels so obscure since they’ve been doing more slice of life than developing the main cast. Everything is also told cryptically just for the audience too.
I really wish they properly adapted the main story. I don’t get why people wanna see these girls farm and watch Kyaru complain about the same thing over and over again.
@@minisaren9361 I think the anime studio has done a bad job on episode 1 where they made this seems to be a battle anime with an op mc like other generic animes, which caused people to expect there will be a strong character and story development on mc but it never happened, so the hates came from anime watchers complaining they didn't get what they were expecting. Same for you and other people who played the game, assumed the anime would present the main story from the game but didn't get any. It's all about people didn't get what they were expected.

I honestly think the outcome would be better if the anime studio never mentioned Ames or mc's flashback, keep everything as a slice of life right at the start and only shows the main story element as a plot twist towards the end.

I also glad the anime being different from the game story, since the game is a generic harem, and only showed very little interaction between mc, Kokkoro, Peco, and Kyaru as they all got separated right at the start of chapter 1, while them 4 were always together in the anime for a better relationship development.
Now that is some damn good CGI animation
I’ve seen people criticize the show for it’s “lack of story process”. And they just say “it’s sad to see them begging for recognition with the animation”.
That’s just something dumb to say and they haven’t made a show so please don’t say anything negative to someone’s hard work.
That's not an excuse why the anime is boring itself and I don't call this hard work at ALL.
Swiftyy To be fair, the source material (mobile game) has a pretty strong story. The anime is primarily what you’d consider filler content. That large shadow monster for instance is an anime original enemy, it doesn’t exist in the game. So this anime is probably meant as a supplement to the game and not a stand alone product. Unfortunately the game is unavailable in English so those who don’t know Japanese but enjoy what they see are kind of out of luck.
The game story by the way is reminiscent of Log Horizon.
I haven't seen this show exepct from these clips so i cant say much but you cant criticise a show for no story cause its like criticising a slice of life for no story. They aren't meant to have one. All this show seems to be is a fantasy anime what just wants to be cute with good animation. If you don't like it don't watch it but its not a reason to say it's bad. And personally I like what it's doing alot.
Fastfirefox1 This series has a story. The anime even hints at it. However, because the anime is primarily supposed to be promotional material for the game it omits the vast majority of the story. The game’s story is too large to fit into a 13 episode span, so the anime production company decided to try to have the anime be primarily a collection of side quests from the game.
That’s just an excuse not to criticize the show for it’s poor story telling.
The story is extremely lacking. Even though the game’s story is pretty well done so far. This came out to be a disappointment. It doesn’t even follow the same path in terms of story between the anime and game.
There’s nothing fun about watching cute girls farm, it’s getting repetitive with Kyaru constantly nagging then complimenting Pecorine’s cooking, then having to flashback to the main villain and they’ve been dragging out this villain’s intentions and appearance. Nothing has progressed. Hopefully if there is a season 2, they can finally pick up the pace

Sounds effects are pretty decent, well above average animation, great CGI, all ruined by the terrible soudtrack which sounds it came straight out of a cheap B-list action movie from then 70s
