Hi mate, great video, very helpful. I have a 1.2 TCe Renault Clio 4 Automatic (which basically use the same EDC gearbox) and I used the same 2 liters Motul DCTF Multi transmission oil and filled the gearbox until it was full and started overflowing. Everything went great and the car was smooth as butter for the first two days. However, starting on the third day and onwards, I'm sensing very strong vibrations from the floor and the pedals. It's like the car is litterally shaking from underneath. It happens only when I'm driving and does not happen when the car is idling or stopped at a red light. Also, strangely enough, the car is shifting gears perfectly like it always did before. I have re-checked for any leaks but there are none and the gearbox is still full of oil (it litterally started overflowing when I opened the gearbox cap to check). Any ideas on what may have caused the issue?
Hey, So does it affect engine revs? Maybe lower mount is gone? But if you didn’t have the vibrations before I can’t tell. Didn’t you drop something into fill hole? I don't think your fault will be in the transmission. I would try to put it in neutral and add gas. Write what it will do.
@@easywork2 Thanks for the quick answer. Reving the engine when I’m in park does not make the car shake, it just revs smoothly like usual. Also, I’m 100% sure I didn’t drop anything in the fill hole, the fit was already barely enough for me to even fit the plastic pipe. But what about the lower mount? What does that mean and where can I check if I still have that part?
There is too much transmission oil. Open the control plug while the vehicle is on a level ground, let the excess oil flow out, when the oil stops, it should be at full overflow level, put the plug back in and there will be no problem.
I can stop watch these videos, I want to learn everything about Clio RS service, Now I know how to change oil transmission, Only I have a question How much time I should wait to change oil transmission? I saw you says 1 year or two but I feel a little confused. Thanks and sorry about my english I should parctice a little bitt more
I would say it's about your style of driving. If you use this car just for some spirited driving, once every two years will be fine. If you do some track days or hill climbs, i would recommend to change the oil every year. Also it depends on your budget.
A whole 2 litres will do great harm as the gearbox 2 main shafts will be partially covered by gear oil and this will stretch your synchro mesh on your gears, leading to crunchy gear changes in time with a costly repair bill.😱

@@Gyy94 I would check all silentblocks of the engine and transmission. I would also look at the CV axles and CV joints.
@@Gyy94 I would have to make a video about it, what you need to watch.

Great work, but how do you deal with the air bubbles after while pouring?
H ello, since air is lighter than liquid, it will be "up in the gearbox".🙂
How many nm when installing the transmission oil plug?
I don't know exactly. But I would put around 40-50 nm(drain plug).

Hi, please write in English. Thank you.
Hello !
There is no oil filter ?
Hi, inside the gearbox?
Is this the automatic dc4 gearbox mate ?
Yes, it is.

@easywork2 Thanks for the advice I really aprecciate your time

Me and lot of other guys over the word have been doing this already for several years with no problem whatsoever.
