MOKSHA

Choreographed by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and performed by Rekha Tandon, this rendering of Odissi’s Moksha was filmed at the Jaipur Mandir, Vrindavan, UP, India. It centres the energies of the body on the grid of black and white tiles, through symmetric sequences of classical music and movement. Filmed by Michael Duffy, Robyn Beeche and Michael Weston, the video editing is by Michael Weston.
