The first thing is that it was never an action movie, the character of Akshay Kumar is not a heroic one that allows the scope to have high voltage stunts even then the film has one stunt by Akshay Kumar himself(not a vfx one, it is raw and real even while doing it he accidentally met with fire accident) which no one in the film industry has attempted ever before not even till date except Vidyut, Vidyut has done similar stunt before but not exactly that. And if you are complaining about action, then please let me know in how many movies you have found actresses doing better action than Amy Jackson in this movie? And Yes, please don't complain about Comedy, the movie does have no of superb- comedy blocks. And if you are complaining about the Storylines, then even hera- pheri has a very simple story but the movie entertainment quotient was extremely high, even the entertainment quotient in this movie is also nice that's why people even after 8 years are coming every day in lakhs to watch this movie. And if you rate any movie like the critics, then you must know Hera-Pheri on the day of its release was given mostly 1/2, 1 or 2 * stars and was declared a flop by the majority of the Critics, the movie at that time was just an average grosser but today it is the most famous movie the country has ever produced and is termed as a cult classic.
