Thank you! More coming soon, this one needs an entire brake system overhaul. The bushings in the calipers are worn to the point of not being rebuildable. Can’t wait to bring it back 100%

I love seeing these shovelheads coming back to life.
    I have a 78 flh.
I'm swapping in an 80 cubic inch 81 flt motor this weekend.
I will completely rebuild the original 74 top and bottom end and keep it.
Can't wait to see what you do with the 79.
I'm a new subscriber as of today.

When the lever on the petcock is down, that's reserve. Up is on. Also, just behind the right rear floorboard mount- is that a crack in the frame or an optical illusion on the video?.

Wow, eagle eye there! I went and looked right now, and I see what you’re talking about on the frame. Luckily, after I scraped the paint off down to bare steel, there appears to be no crack. It was just some paint lifting there.

Lever pointing down is on. Lever pointing back is off. Lever pointing forward is reserve.

if you watch the vid (at 9:57) you'll see the leak starts at the petcock.
