  • Colombo Lotus Tower, called Nelum Kuluna in Sinhalese and situated at D. R. Wijewardana Mawatha (formerly McCallum Road) in Colombo, is the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia and the tallest skyscraper in Sri Lanka (as of the video publication date).
Visitors to Lotus Tower are charged Rs. 500 (lesser amount for children) to go up by lift to Observation Deck, which is the main attraction of a visit and the highlight of this video. The deck affords 360 degrees panoramic views of Colombo City. Thereafter visitors descend stairs to see the revolving restaurant on the 27th floor, which is not yet operational.
The video is based on footage taken of the Tower on a number of visits.
Filmed and edited by Leonard Jayawardena.
