This people is what it’s all about! Not about Nurburgring times or 0-60 times, actual ownership is about how it makes you feel when you drive it. Manual gearboxes really add value to the ownership experience in my opinion.

Ferraris aren't just for posing, Ferraris are for people who want to experience true Italian motorsport heritage on the road.
In my country the people who buy Ferraris are usually angry old rich men that drive it once a year and then just leave it mold in their garage
Don't replace the wheels Sam, they look great, not small unlike some of the period, but if you have to, please hold onto these wheels, the next owner will thank you.

I have to agree, I really like the CS wheels, but these 5 spokes are a really clean design too and do not make the car look bad at all...

Tyre Reviews what tyres do u recommended for my 340bhp 05wrx? Cars got coilovers and stut braces bigger anti roll bars etc current tyres are uniyoyal rain sport 3's, heard Ado8 r is good I'd like a tyre with hard side wall's and excellent dry grip and good wet grip I'll be using as my daily with the odd track day 👍 hope u can help with suggestions 😊
Johny Jackson ad08 is a solid shout, great sidewalls on them, but they don't have the wet grip of something like a michelin pilot sport 4s. Pilot Sport Cup 2s are a reasonable wet grip track day tyre too, I'm in the process of testing them on my daily m3. Not sure how they'll be when it gets cold and wet tho!

The Dunlop Sport BluResponse is a great choice, as is the Continental Premium Contact 6, or Goodyear EfficientGrip performance. In the midrange loads of people rate the uniroyal, if you're not put off by high wear.

The engine will be fine. It's small things like radiator hoses, door seals, bearings & joints. In my experience the first things to fail are sensors, like the O2 sensor. Beyond that, just rubber pieces drying up & cracking because they haven't been used much & they're 10+ years old. However, if it was consistently driven most rubber pieces/hoses should be ok for now.

Part of the reason cars like Ferrari break is because they aren’t driven enough.
Thomas Semeniuk somewhat true. A friend of mine drove his 360 back in the day almost daily. From zero miles to 30k with change. As I remembered it hardly needed any repair. Just service. However he was always complaining of the fit and finish, saying a lot of things would just come apart in the interior and electronics like window motors etc. He would many times say that engine, transmission and the body seem to be done with highest quality in mind, and then the rest of the car is put together by kids from a high school workshop.
I'm in love with the sound of the 360! Sam bring down to Greece :D, we have nice driving roads as well!

Sam, don't worry or stress on this Italian trip. The 360 Modena proves to be solid like a rock.
You will not run into any problems when the car is maintained by the book/schedual (as this 360 is).
Even older models 308/328,Mondial (=over 30y old) can do a trip like this, I did it over 7 times in the last decade. Never ever any issues. It is (pre)maintenance what makes or breakes a Ferrari.
Buying one is the easy part, finding the right one a bit harder but maintain it is the hardest.
When you/the 360 needs a maintenance go for the specialists (not the cheap mechanic around the corner). You pay a bit more but when you trade the 360 in it will come back to you $$$$. Hell, when the market is kind to you you can even make a (small) profit, pending on milage and condition of the car and if maintenance is preformed as it should be...
I moved up from 328GTS to F430, go every year to Italy/Como- Villa 'd Este/Erbe to enjoy this great brand and all the cars there. Enjoy this trip, scenery and food. Also enjoy the crazy Italians who goes Banana's seeing/hearing a Ferrari. You must do/follow the Mille Miglia once in a Ferrari. You will be blown away what this car can do and how easy is is to drive at (higher) speeds.
Ps park anywhere you like, the cavalino is your national parking permit. You will not get a fine anywhere. More likely thumbs up also from Police. They like to hear the V8 scream down the autostrada...
Note you (still) gear up not at the right (=perfect) rpm, a bit to early. You can go all the way up to 8500rpm. This way the engine does not drop down as far in rpm shifting to the next gear. You will feel a better flow in your acceleration, try it.

Sam keep us updated. I was in very similar situation this summer. Bought a 06 F430 with 5800 miles on it. I quickly realized I drive A LOT and after putting 4K miles on it from June to Sept I started freaking out. Since then I just drive it now and realized it’s not a porcelain doll. It’s a race car. Ever since I made that mental decision I have enjoyed the car so much more.

A great car to practice rev-matching those downshifts. Ive driven a 360, and the pedal spacing is perfect, so should be easy to really master. Nice video and lovely 360...awesome that you found one with the sabelt sport seats!

Red can sometimes be a pain to colour match because of previous exposure to sunlight etc , choose Wisely when having individual panels painted or might even be worth going down route of a full outside re spray 👍

Try not to shift your grip on the steeringwheel so much during the curves. Practise finding your grip and turn the wheel as far as possible without changing your gripping point. You will soon discover that you optain a much more smooth rythm in the twists and turns.

seen trough glass why dont you put your phone with maps on it on the windshield mount while driving on a twisty unknown roads? I love doing that, its a habit from my childhood to look at the map and antisipate the sharp corners while playing need for speed back in the days. Its very helpful.

No, Lambos are for posing! Yours is still a modern Ferrari so should be much more reliable than the older stuff. What is really great is that you are truly using it for what it was intended, driving around gorgeous roads and having fun rather than staying in first or second gear in London or Monaco posing with a loud exhaust. Using it the way you are I would stick to the stock exhaust as not only does it sound amazing it is still quiet enough to to be wearing r on long road trips.

PS: I actually prefer these classy rims on the normal 360 instead of the stradale rims. On a stradale I actually prefer the stradale rims.

Great video and even better outlook in relation to the paint blemishes etc and actually using your 360 as intended. I did the same thing with my E30 M3 (also my own dream car) and it's been an adventure so far.
Why not use for V888 and track down the previous owners of your 360? Maybe you could take it back and show them? Maybe get some stories of their times with the car?

Would you agree Sam in some ways that the Evora 400 is something of a modern version of this era of Ferrari? Good noise, driver involvement, not crazy speed but still quick
Wheels look great Sam, elegant. I wonder how bigger wheels would effect geometry designed for the smaller wheels? Worth asking the question before you upgrade.
