The truck appears extremely appealing with the exception of a Chevy driveline. I do not prefer the "cross mating" of drivelines with the availability offered. The truck deserved a "Blue Oval" for superiority. Thanks Scotty for another great video.
What a beautiful truck. I have liked the 48 through 52 Ford pickup truck styling since I was a kid. I think that I would have chromed that spear that goes through the hood side vents and put in a Ford engine. But hey, it's not my truck.
Im sure it’s just atypO 1951 is the only year that has the three bumper horns on the grill , right , what did some call this truck a 1952 , they are wo completely different body’s , lolnice thanks BigAl California.
The Beauty about American Muscle regardless of the era, makes and models is that components swapping be it motors, trannies, rear-ends is that it all works for the builder and or for the owner. I would have probably used a HEMI/Borgwarner 6+ speed tranny and posi 373gears. AMERICAN MUSCLES IS THAT THE COMBINATIONS ARE ENDLESS, ACHIEVING THE POWER ARE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. PEOPLE THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
The bed work alone is amazing, let alone the rest of the truck. You could spend hours looking this one over. Thank you sir.

Scottie you said downside 2x but there's not a downside. Kinditi Design is one of the premier car builders in the industry. Wish I could afford one
The chevy motor in a Ford is a downside Brother.....

Do we have any idea how much this build cost??? I love to watch the Kindig builds... but I hate that we don't know the cost. :)
I never ask.....

Glad You liked it!!
I have a black 48 with a 1966 289,Ford in a Ford,that truck gets a pass, just beautiful.
Thanks for checking it out!!
There is no "correct engine"......that's why they call it custom. Who started the nonsense of "correct engine"?......But the truck, totally awesome
ok....

Why would You out a MOPAR engine in a Ford??....Thanks for checking it out!
It really is. What you said.
I try not to lie...lol
@@ScottieDTV OH YOU DIDN'T LIE. That's for sure. The fluted bed top rails is just another design perfection.
Ho-hum another truck! My Lord it is SAAAAAWEEEEETTTT! I even forgive the Chevy engine!!! THANKS Scottie...
lol..You're welcome Brother....I had to overlook that also!!
You mentioned "downside" a couple of times. To me the biggest "downside" is that it will never really be driven and enjoyed.
Thanks for checking it out!!
if you enjoy it friend
Thanks for checking it out!!
Es unica
That it is...
I"d trade ALL3 of my X-WIVES for IT....THEY ALL THOUGHT THEY WERE WORTH IT!!!!THANKS MY BROTHER....AGAIN!!!
lol...Glad You liked it!!
It’s a nice truck but I would use a Ford engine if I was a builder of that truck but it’s their creation
Thanks for checking it out!!
👍
Thank You!!
Swap a coyote in there!
Would have been the way to do it.....
Look Far better stock...
lol...I wouldn't agree...but it's not for everyone..
Should have used a Coyote!
Agreed!!
should have used a flathead V8..or, if you wanted to be different, a 300 I6...
ford engines in fords simple what an insult to the rest of the truck
Thanks for checking it out!!
You lost me at Chevy.
Thanks for trying!!
The motor 👎
I hear ya.....
