Great to see a normal bloke giving us a voice. I know you’re not politically trained, which makes you much more believable. I can spot honesty when I see it. I’m a convicted criminal in he eyes of the law. I want to better myself and stop fighting the system and the government that I lost faith in when I was a young man. I can never be a senator with my history. It would be too easy to demonise me and judge me by my past. In saying that, iv never hurt anyone, robbed anybody or raped anyone. I’ve always obeyed the law of do un to others as what you would want done to yourself. The law of common sense. Unfortunately I’ve let my frustration of an openly unfair system hijack my emotions in the past. I’ve said hateful things in the heat of the moment. Watching your speech makes me believe there is hope that one day we will have a government that legislates policies to bring the people born on the bottom up to the top and show that absolute power doesn’t always corrupt. Well, after that resounding applause and proverbial 'chockers' line up (I note that if you had chosen not to shake a particular senator's hand you would have instantly failed as a self-proclaimed, 'PeaceMaker'. I do hope that Albo's presence in the chamber is acknowledgement that the balance of power is finally held by a positive and progressive force and that positive policy can now proceed after such a drought.
