One recently bought 3.5" Gen 4 Slicer has a weak detent with the rounded thumb studs.
The other has a decent detent with the flat thumb studs.

My 3.5 has Gen 4 and 3 parts. Stop pin is a 4th and thumb stud is 3rd and lock bar is 4th. Detent is weak as hell.
