Pay the bill where? It's not like that. There are obligations to supply military support under article 5. There is no "bill." Fun fact, the only time article 5 has ever been invoked was September 11, 2001 when NATO officially came to the aid of the United States, as we were a member who was attacked. Attack one, you attack all.
To whom and how do you make payment? There is no central NATO "account."
Given that, how do you "pay the bill?" If there is a "bill," what is the dollar amount and to whom is it paid?

You know the problem with you getting your news from MSNBC or any of these other guys is that they don't tell you the full story. While Trump did say that he would encourage Russia to do that. The context of that is that other members of the NATO countries do not pay their fair share like the United States does.
Yes the other members of NATO should be putting in just as much as the United States and not be a 85/15 split like feels right now.
A good thing to do would be to look for what Trump actually said and then listen to the full context of his words. Instead of these little tidbits that they take out that they've been doing for the past I don't know 8/9 years and I don't understand why the Democratic party has not come to understand that these guys are lying to you. All you have to do is see what MSNBC is saying and then go watch the actual clip of what Trump said and I guarantee you that you'll see something completely different. Because context does matter

Without it, it appears this lady is just making things up. That’s the equivalent of me reporting on you and saying look how crazy Colstah is. Coldtah literally said, “As each day passes I wonder…. And then each day passes and there we are again.” Notice how I took your own words and painted a different picture. You have a responsibility to want the full context of a situation and hear both sides to a story. Don’t just sit here and be spoon fed what to say and think.
