    This is helpful to visualize how themes and coding might look like for a beginner level researcher. Thankyou for sharing. The audio needs to be louder (perhaps not being captured very well when screencasting).

    Thank you sooo much! Agreed with the colour coding limitation. I am also thinking of bringing out the texts under each code put onto a separate sheet for analysis - maybe do another set of coding? A thought.

Could you please make a video on how to systematically conduct a grounded theory coding and analysis? this will help me and other novice GT researchers to great extent.     A few rough timestamps:
    2.50 how to start processing data into codes (second column of the table)
    11.15 how to go from codes to themes (add a comment)
    19.00 how to colour-code themes in data (a separate file for themes book with colours)
    20.52 limitations of using colours for coding in Word

    Hey thank you for this, very useful. Alot of resources I find for thematic content analysis are focused around qualitative interviews - however I'm looking at doing this for academic writings on a topic - is thematic content analysis valid if this is my source? thanks!

    OK I love this lecture but again I have to ask... Do you have to go through the same process if you have say 9 different interviews?

      depends on whether there is a point where you feel like you can already move on. This point may occur after only a few first transcripts, if the transcripts are quite detailed. You don't have to go through all this for all transcripts

    Can NVivo pick up the codes from Microsoft word comment section?

      it cannot, you would need to replicate this manually, working with a word file

    Honestly I can't hear anything when you are explaining. Even with the headphones blasting on full power. Especially when someone is talking on the background.
