Sara Gilbert brought this gem back to us. Thanks Sara, Roseanne, the cast and the execs at ABC for such a treat! Just watching the 2018 opening credits gave me goosebumps :)

When I was a kid this show kinda flew over my head (for obvious reasons). As an adult, it's pretty dang obvious why it became the #1 show on TV. My wife and I watched 10 episodes back-to-back last night and I struggled to shut it off at 1:30am on a work night. Roseanne is a genius.
Never noticed before but now see that Michael Fishman & Sara Gilbert look enough alike that they could pass for actual siblings.

The new show, as Roseanne envisioned it, wasn't supposed to touch ypur HEART. you jerk -- it was meant to touch ylur FUNNYBONE! It was [originally] a COMEDY, not a fucking soap-opera. Sara Gilbert ruined it. Roseanne, without Roseanne, = 0. And you are a moron.

I was about to comment how they nearly ignore poor Michael there in the back, but at the end it was saved! Super pumped to see the show back again. I truly hope we get more seasons if all the parties involved want to keep going past this new block of episodes.
I was 12 I think when the show started (88 right?) and like other than I Love Lucy and MAYBE Cheers, Roseanne is just the best sitcom in history imo. And its literally my childhood.

I really think it'll be the kids (Becky, Darlene, DJ), and to an extent, their kids who'll carry this; have to say I'm more interested in seeing their story, although it will be kind of neat seeing John and Laurie back at it too. Michael Fishman is currently my favourite cast member to see.
Dan can be zombie in their halloween episode. PLEASE WE NEED A HALLOWEEN EPISODE!

Roseanne represents ALL middle, low income families...everybody missed it all these years....I love Sara Gilbert and am grateful for her efforts to bring us joy again..
This made my life...grew up with it, still loved to watch the old episodes, bought dvd collection and now they're coming back. Its sooooo great. I hope it will be such a great succes and many episodes... but wait.... when will I be able to watch it here in Germany? 😭

One of the BEST sitcoms is back and I am sooooooo happy!!!! I cannot believe that many years have passed since they last aired, it does not feel that long! In my opinion, they should always be on TV! I would like to see David as a regular again though. His character fit like a glove in that family.

Watching the old Roseanne show keeps me in reality. If I have a problem, all I have to do is turn on the old show. Glad the new Conners show is surviving, in spite of the rocky start.
Now I can introduce a real close to home show to my kids.... I grew up watching Roseanne and could relate to them

I'm disturbed that she's a Trump supporter,But I'm like fuck it and put political differences aside and give the reboot a try....I'm sick of how we've all let politics rip us apart as a Nation ..
Kirk Morgan I may hate trump, and I am shocked that Roseanne herself is a trump supporter. But I don't really mind about it, every people have their opinions, so I don't mind about the whole political thing, and I wish the show is a success like back in the days.
However this Roseanne reboot pulls off the double Becky's, it should give an idea to the Olsen Twins on how they should finally do a shoot for Fuller House and reprise their role as Michelle.
Before the revival, I had only ever seen the occasional rerun. I wasn’t sure what to think...Roseannes voice was just a bit too much for me. I had low expectations for the show, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely watch again. It was really funny. I think that bringing Roseanne back in this current climate, was the perfect thing to do. I like how the show didn’t just make jabs at one side or another...If only more shows could be like this! I wish a three party system could work, but at this point I’m not sure.
As someone who identifies as politically independent, I truly hope this show can help the country heal. It breaks my heart to see families torn apart because of politics. I will always choose love first. I may not agree with your opinion, but it’s not my place to judge. I will stand up for my opinion and respect yours. Before Roseanne, I enjoyed shows like the middle and last man standing. This country is so divided and I hope shows like this can help us heal and come together.
With that being said, I hope the show doesn’t always focus on politics alone.
Really cool! They look great. Probably will be one of the most successful REBOOTS ever...The audience seems captivated!

But, I cannot miss this, especially, knowing Roseanne the way I do, and sharing her knowledge and philosophy, too...and I love the whole family, too! They are us! We, The People! Go, Roseanne and gang! I know that She and they will make it as relevant , timely and honest, as the networks will let them get away with...Long story, though many of you know what I'm getting at! Eyes NOT Wide Shut, anymore, and Roseanne's have mos def been opened, greatly, for a long while! I love You, dear Roseanne, the person, and cast, the real and the performers...So much more Unique than the vast majority of casts and shows, and with most, still alive, and with issues that are just as awesome to tackle...watching ourselves once again, in a "mirror!" Hope to see all in person, one day, soon. Truly, no words can express it, though surreal is one, and Love, another! 👍🎷. 🎬 Take Two! 🎬
But, what about Johnny Galecki?! Aren't he and Sarah going to be together again, as husband and wife?! Darlene and, shoot, I went blank...but loved them together! Just don t bring Roseannes ex husband back, who played her sister s abusive husband...Never liked his acting, in anything he played in.

Laurie and John have proven to be the real actors and I always thought Roseanne was a trail blazer. The only issue I have is the death of Dan. My sister cried when she saw that episode and I was almost moved to tears. It was that kind of writing that made the show great.
