I think a problem with your tournaments is that they are too boring and the problem is that 95/100 of Stickman fight with edged weapons, other reasons are that you don't play music in the background and that the fights are too friendly or that nobody dies and then there are no twists, the things I liked the most are the animation itself and that the final managed to give an epic fight.
This, i think he tried to avoid copyright (by replacing all the sound and no music at all) and brutal stuff because man i remember the old tourney before it got remake, it far more brutal and epic, but man what a waste
