I can relate to Dolly when she speaks about her childhood church memories. She mentions her Aunt being a Pentecostal preacher and i was raised in small country Pentecostal church. We sang the old hymns, lotsa sing'n and play'n instruments and seemed like everybody was related. I hold those memories fondly as clearly Dolly does too. Taught me a lot about knowing, loving, and having a relationship with my Creator and how to try and do right by folks!
You know, I really loved this interview! Charlie Rose asked great questions, and he was attentive, I think he did a great job here! And Dolly is always so wonderful, sweet and REAL!!!
Charlie Rose isn’t really listening to her. Her cuts her off, rushes her along and seems impatient while he’s shuffling papers as she talks. Dolly deserves better than this, though they do have a good chemistry and I appreciated this was slightly more in-depth than most of her interviews.
Too bad Mr. Rose had to interrupt Dolly so frequently in the interview. It seemed rude and nerve wracking to watch. I felt bad for Dolly having to endure it.
She is such a treasure. If someone said they didnt like Dolly Parton as a person, I would question them lol

And he laughed at her for some of her serious comments, just like when she said she knows how men think, he laughed... Was really not nice to watch.
