- As suggested by dargonii, today we do the only Entry Hazards Challenge, in which I am forced to only use entry hazards to deal damage. I am allowed to use any other moves, such as Roar, but none of my moves can deal any damage.
Find out how it went!
Zekrom's Teravolt ignores Furcoat. That's why he dealt so much damage.
That's why I love zekrom so much, you could break through sturdy with it's teravolt
Teravolt, Turboblaze and Mold Breaker are such a good abilities. Pretty much only a couple of defensive abilities work agains them and most of them are tied to legendary pokémon.

He could have an offensively balanced team with legendaries. 5 out of his 6 pokemon were physical attackers, Furfrou became unkillable.

The opponent team was quite garbage actually, all his Pokemon were grounded and none of them had Defog lol. Still nice to see a bunch of legends held back by sneaky rocks and sheit
iirc only arceus can learn defog? idk ive never seen an arceus use defog tho..
and yeah, tbh their team wasnt that good.

You should have had a mon with high speed and defenses with rest sleeptalk and then roar/whirlwind so it ignores the negative priority

I had a Kommo-o set with max health and speed, rock polish, rest/talk and roar and tbh I couldn't make it work many times, but the gimmick is real
Had a whole UU team of rest/talkers to go with it, my other favorites were whirlpool/perish song Politoed and bulk up/power trip Krookodile. All hard gimmicks, but it slapped

@@thonk7611 I mean you could just do the setup again, but if your Pokémon can't use any non-attacking moves in the first place, that's a different story. Especially if the enemy has hazards themselves, so you can't just switch back and forth to stall out the PP.

@@raismin739 liepard has the prankster ability and can learn both roar and copycat. Just use roar once with entry hazards piled on the opposite team and then roar constantly with prankster copycat being
+1 priority. you'll have to watch out for same level priority moves if the opponents pokemon is faster and obviously faster priorities like extreme speed.
Doesn’t work. Copycat fails if roar was the last used move.
It fails on any move with >2 priority (like rage powder or protect),
Now hear me out I think the perfect phaser for this kinda team should be a sticky barb jolly crobat, with rest, sleep talk, and whirlwind. 252 speed and 252 hp. Sticky barb is just so crobat can switch in take some damage then use rest immediately

Whenever I play on Showdown I always make sure to be as annoying as possible with the hazards.
I ran a similar team in Ubers bit with a spd and hp Lugia multiscale recover. spore and hazards including sticky web smeargul. Deoxys speed more hazards

I thought when it came to moves or abilitys giving the same amount of priority it comes down to actual speed so extreme speed for zygarde went through cause Murkrow is slower
I would've tried a Prankster/Roar/Copycat Riolu to cycle his Pokemon more consistently. But that also gets wrecked by Extremespeed, which that guy used a looooot
When I try it. 1 magic bounce pokémon, 2 pokémon have taunt, rapid spin and defog.

reminds me of when i ran a prankster Riolu with roar and copycat. Had a Skarmory set up spikes and stealth rock and happened to kill like 5 of the enemy with this riolu lol. Fun times

No one is pointing out how one layer of tox spikes is better than 2 if you keep forcing switch outs
Also in case you weren’t joking about extremespeed being faster than prankster: Extremespeed is +2 priority, prankster is +1, and I believe Zygarde has a faster speed than Murkrow anyhow lol
It's equal if you stall for 3 turns for ever 1 turn you force a switch, and better to have two layers if you stall for more than 3 turns per switch, I think

Use prankster roar to get priority on your roar, but you would need another roar to get dark types
Prankster increases priority by 1 stage, roar has priority of - 6 so you end up with - 5 priority still, you just go first before other moves with priority - 6 such as opposing roar or trick room
