I live in a city, and Sky still only offers average speeds of 61mbps for my home. For a country that wants to build a digital services economy, the ISP's need to speed up their FTTP roll out and crank up the speeds to globally competitive values, not charge £40+ for basic speeds.
@antonyevans9772 I can only go with Virginmedia for true FTTP because they offer all the way up to 1130Mbps speed. I have 200Mbps, I am not made of money, but I need speed for work to download large files and not just gaming. Both BT and Sky, though, are limited to 60Mbps, and they charge basically the same amount per month. It just feels like all the major ISP's have carved up territory like drug lords rather than compete with each other and passing savings onto the customer.
Phoned you up about boardband yesterday and had to repeat my postcode so many times told her what I was looking for fibre only boardband proceeded to tell me about everything and after almost 20 minutes I hung up on her 😂. Seriously sky what’s going on 🤷🏻♂️ terrible service I will pop into my local ee shop and sort it 👍🏻.
Anyone else following Queen that night would have fallen flat. Bowie saunters out there, pulls out TVC15 & absolutely smashes it - underpinned his legend status & then some !!!
Why can’t you then downgrade via the sky box but it lets you add as much as you like, you have to call and go through a right rigmoral and even then they try talking you out of it. Tut tut
Sky telling us how great they are yet my phone coverage goes from 5g to 4g to 3g then nothing in seconds while im trying to watch something. The phone doesn't move position yet sky cant give me a decent explanation why this happens so often. Piss poor company.
Sky is a joke don’t be fooled price constantly increases V.I.P. Means nothing 12 years an near the end of my contract it increased to £180 a month an I didn’t even have BT sports or mutv ect. I got a price hike an an they couldn’t “wouldn’t” help with any reduction or offers which after cancelling I actually got through to 1 of there nicer employees but by then it was too late as she said it should of never got this far an they should of an could of done something to resolve issue an I replied even if I was given sky free I wouldn’t accept it there a joke an don’t care about there customers so be aware an go elsewhere. 👌👌👌👌
