  • Dick Clark interviews the Spinners on American Bandstand. The Spinners say that from the beginning they try to be an organization together and united. Their policy in the past was to be always be ready to go. They have never been late and never missed anything, except for one cancellation due to the murder of Martin Luther King. The Spinners are headed to Europe in two weeks and are excited about it.

    "It's a shame" most artists of today don't speak with the eloquence, humility and depth of experience that these gentlemen exhibit. I guess that's part of the reason why shows of the nature of AB are a thing of the past.

    The Temptations lost nothing when Dennis came aboard , & The Spinners lost nothing w/ John Edwards , amazing voice.
