Thanks for watching my video! I actually filmed this over a month ago, so you’ve probably seen me use these brushes in other videos as well. Since filming this video, the 109 brush has become my overall favorite brush for cream/liquid blushes, and the A506 has become my favorite concealer brush! I still love the 101 and 107 as well. For the other brushes, I like but don’t necessarily love them.

    Love your look today!
101 is my most loved and used foundation brush. Recently 109 has become my fav cream blush/bronzer brush, using it with rare beauty liquid blushes is my fav use case of 109. It works really well also with the cream blush in Patrick Ta blush duo.
And of course Angie hot and flash concealer brush is the only one I have been using day in day out for a year now. Lisa is a genius.

Nice, our tastes are very aligned! I love those brushes as well - such game changers! They are definitely making me enjoy liquid and cream products much more :)

Love the BK brushes, the Angie Hot & Flashy line is perfect for cream/liquid eyes & cheek/bronzer. I do want the 109 & 112 & the smudger. Started with the 101 and it's very good, fine even for a diffused application of blush or bronzer, but it's very big. I'm also loving many of the fude natural hair brushes for this and that. It'll be interesting how the same brushes you used here work with a less grippy foundation. I completely identified with being very precious with my natural hair brushes and using synthetics without fear of washing them more often. I am much more careful & patient, particularly regarding dry times for foundation & primer, when using the natural hair brushes. Beauty Pie has some good synthetic brushes. The cheek and foundation ones are soft and work well and cost less than half of the BK . I wouldn't use their eye brushes in place of the Angie Hot & Flashy synthetics though. I also really like the 2 Sydney Grace brushes I got, the small powder & their excellent tiny shader that reminds me of the TS1 from the Sonia G Traditions Holiday Trio.

Also, great job with the look! It came out beautiful and it was fun to see it come together.

Thanks! I’m really glad it came together - after my eyeliner struggle, I was worried I’d have to restart the look!
Thanks so much for the recs! I’ve been intrigued by Beauty Pie! The next time BK Beauty has a sale, I definitely want to check out more of their brushes in the Angie Hot & Flashy line - maybe a crease brush so I can do a complete full face using her brushes. :)

Wow, your eye look!! Very bold and beautiful :)
What do you think makes these brushes different than the synthetic ones you’ve tried from other brands? Like, what in particular makes them better? If you have similarly shaped brushes from another brand, would they truly perform better in a direct competition? I ask because I’ve found similarly shaped brushes from other brands (for example, the angled 109-style from the Ulta brand). I’m certain the handles would be very different, but I wonder about the bristles and performance.
    TFS your thoughts :)

Thanks! :) Good question! I can’t say for sure, but feeling the brushes side by side, my other synthetic hair brushes (Sephora brand, Luxie, Morphe, Firma, and others) feel less stiff and more plastic-y (slippery/smooth/bendy). I think the BK Beauty bristles mimic natural hair bristles better. I haven’t tried Ulta’s brushes though!

@@areteanbeauty Thank you for your thoughts. I doubt Ulta would be an exception haha ;) I’ll definitely check out some from BK Beauty this year. The brush category is the one exception to my low/no buy. 😇
