Really nice build. The connection between the hilt and the rest of the blade is creative, but it leaves a huge scar, which ruins the look a bit. But I understand why you did that (transportation, storage). Thank you for your effort.

What about putting the pipe up most of its length from the base of the blade and just feeding in a wooden pole to be the handle and reinforce the spine?

Here in Brazil there is only one store that sell worbla and its too expensive, so the EVA is used mosty too but every single tutorial I search uses it

The guard is EVA the blade looks to just be regular foam board
