The way your son looks mesmerised everytime he looks at Ma Durga, I am sure her blessings and protection are with him forever. Greta take on experiencing the rural style "Sabeki Durga Pujo" as well.
Hi Steph, I am a Brit with my extended family living in kolkata and came upon your channel by accident recently, and I have been bingeing your travel videos. Hayes is such a sweet kid!! Happy Birthday and many many happy returns of the day!! 🎉🎂❤👏 Loved the grin and embarrassment on his face when the birthday cake was on the table 😍
I'm glad that you came out of Kolkata and explored the real beauty of West Bengal. You can visit the Himalayas in the north Darjeeling (Queen of Hill's) or beaches in the south Digha at the bay of Bengal.

"Banglar mukh ami dekhiachi tai ami prithibir rup khujite jai na ar"... Jibanananda Das unfortunately Bengal isnt what it used to be, people arent the same anymore even in villages, demographics have changed a lot, govt hasnt done anything for the people, but still you can see some beauty of the region even now, as per the literature, anecdotes of elders, imagery...there isnt a sweeter and enriching place in this world...there isnt more fertile soils and freshwater bodies anywhere, there isnt anywhere where people are more emotional and down to earth and loving there isnt just a simpler and spiritual place anywhere...many youths wouldnt understand the significance of these words i know because it isnt what it used to be! Bengal is mother, mother loves and nourishes children like you do for your child, we share similar sentiments for our motherland Bengal, regards
Thank you Steph & Pete for presenting the lovely vedio of rural life of West Bengal. I am so much proud as bengali of West Bengal.
