Thank you for this review. I used this along with your RC Musk review to purchase both. I am happy you review the classic scents as the fragrances coming out these days are too sweet and in a way, opposite of "manly" in my opinion. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays!!
Great video my friend definitely can’t wait to try it ......it’s amazing how your nose 👃🏻changes as you get older smells I used to hate I absolutely love now 🤷🏾♂️
Big old school fan myself, will look into both. Ever try Giorgio Beverly Hills? The reform version is great, but the original is superb. Was able to track down a bottle years ago and it really brought me back. Just beautiful. 👍🏻
What’s going on man, thanks again for watching and commenting I appreciate your input always!!...I have tried Giorgio BH The latest formulation no doubt, I sold a friend of mine a bottle, the dry down on that is great but was not sure about the opening.
Mike Barooshian yes this is absolutely a classic and it performs very well lasts all day, I can’t tell if I like the original or the Musk better I own both
Ya my old man used to put his cowboy hat on splash the royal Copenhagen on and head out for the night! Just got my first bottle! That's the stuff! Super manly scent on a cold evening! Love the old school!
I used to wear this many years ago and took for granted that it would always be around. After my last bottle I tried buying more to replenish my stash and found that the formula seemed different. It seemed like the formula has been changed somehow but NOT the same scent that I used to wear. I hate the scent so much now that I use it on my dogs after I bathe them. I have searched all over for the original formula but the stuff now is garbage. Any idea where I can find this in its original formula? Awesome video by the way..
The splash on bottle looks way cooler than the spray bottle. I've always had interest in this cologne, I'll probably get it soon. Have you tried gravity? It's pretty good at least to me for an eau de cologne .
Gravity is the blue bottle ? I have not tried it, defiantly try Royal Copenhagen though it’s great the Royal Copenhagen Musk is even better. Thank you for watching and commenting bro !
A coty fragrance, they are usually good for the money, I will have to check it out, I am going to review Aspen by coty soon. But thank you for the heads up on gravity I will keep an eye out for it and if I get it soon I will absolutely review it. It appears to have the classic vibe so I’m sure it’s right up my alley
two more old school ones I know only by name are Lagerfeld (1978) and LIDGE which stands for L'Instant De Guerlain (2004) don't know if there was an older more original one than that. Sort of had enough researching fragrances for one day. whew. taking a break.
Nice review..i did try the musk but way to overbearing. I believe my mom got the original for me years ago but just used it up and never wore again. I did try out that 1775 and that is a nice modern fragrance but hard to find. I saw a bottle of RC at Burlington so may pick it up.
Ok I’m trying to find a dupe for an oriental women’s perfume from the 80s and for some reason this pops up as it has a lot of the notes I’m looking for ….can a gal ( a girlie gal ) rock this!?
Yeah way better full screen, for whatever reason the tidal graphic that I edit the video with on my iPad does not show up on RUclips when I upload the video. On my iPad though the name of cologne I’m reviewing comes up on the screen but not on RUclips.
Back in the day that was my stuff ladies loved it very sweet super long-lasting tried to get some last year but it smelled old or stale maybe someone can tell me where to get some
Anthony G I got a large bottle at a Burlington store, it was that 8oz splash in the video. It lasts sooo long and is very potent I really like it. If you can’t find it in stores I know it can be found on the popular fragrance sites to buy. Thank you so much for watching and commenting dude !
Are the splash and the spray different, or just the same with different ways to apply? I thought the bigger bottle was a refill thing. I'm new to the world of fragrance
BronI used to wear chaps in the late 80s had the silver cap with the lasso engraved I used to love it then ... I did feel like an all American plains field clean cut cow boy.
You’ll like this one, check out my Mercari page though, no sellers fees anymore so I can accept offers that are less than list price. Check out Royal cope musk as well
beware, I have bought this from Amazon and immediately threw it away in the garbage, never had a fragrance as bad as this one! Maybe if you can find an original from Denmark, but the stuff produce in the USA on license from RC is downright awful
Jesus you talked so much you made my ears bleed and my brain boil... Wouldn't it be more simple to describe perfume in just few words straight down to the topic?
Stanislaw II wouldn’t it be more simple if next time you were having a bad day you didn’t take it out on a RUclipsr’s cologne review video from 6 months ago?
What would you rather wear: Dolce & Gabbana The One, for example, or Royal Copenhagen and smell like you found your cologne for free in a gas station toilet?
Lolllll thats absolutely not how it smells, I’d say if anything id say someone might dislike the powder scent this one has since it is strong. But I enjoy this one personally. Thank you for watching and commenting dude !
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey If you had to sniff this swill 24-7, and even smell traces of it on your kids, you would do everything in your power to destroy and avoid its nostril stinging, overpowering scent. For a scent DNA created in 1970, that should be enough to tell you it needs to be retired. It's like someone took Clubman Original and tried to make it smell refined and expensive, and ended up smelling like a 7-11 worker trying to mask his BO.
I bought this a few years ago at Burlington in a gift set for an amazing price (I think it was 12 or 15 bucks or something, marked down after Christmas) with big bottles of EDT spray and splash cologne, an aftershave balm tube, a deodorant stick, and a big bar of soap. I loved the way it looked, and upon smelling it, I was intrigued by the old-school smell. The soap itself was almost worth the price of the whole gift set. It must have been my favorite soap ever. That particular fragrance is incredible in soap form, and it lathered well AND lasted well. The EDT was so STRONG, persistently powdery & aldehydic, and long-lasting on the skin, that I became fatigued from it over time, and that summer I sold the fragrance items at a yard sale. I regret that now, especially selling the cologne & aftershave.
I'm 64 and this fragrance reminds of my uncles and Dad when I was a child.
Yes! Some fragrances in splash form are wonderful! I too have RC in splash. Like you, love the nostalgia of splash. Excellent review!
I appreciate all your hard work! Thanks for everything that you are doing to help educate on scents! God bless!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Brian
Man I’ve wanted to test this one for years lol so happy you did
And musk as well
Thank you bro, this one is really nice, easy to wear especially in the cooler weather and performs well too, thank you for stopping by
Scents Of South Jersey yes sir keep up the good work man love your reviews
Great stuff, Kellen! And to be honest, you probably don’t need a musk version of this, is this one seems nice in musky & complex on its own.
The original is good but I actually prefer the musk once I got it lol

Definitely getting this

Armored Saint lol yeah don’t over do it you end up getting lost in the sauce
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey haha. good one. yeah, there are sooooo many it can drive you nuts and take a whole lifetime.

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey absolutely. Yeah bro try the 1775 I got a lot of female compliments on it lol.
1775 valor flanker is their best in my opinion. It's a blue and damn fine.
The 1775 line is great. I love the 1775 original. But valor is really a head above the rest
This is a versitile fragrance. Long lasting. I actually wear it in all seasons, just less sprays in summer.
Really great review
Do you think you can do a review on Skin Bracer?
Ok I’m trying to find a dupe for an oriental women’s perfume from the 80s and for some reason this pops up as it has a lot of the notes I’m looking for ….can a gal ( a girlie gal ) rock this!?

I really don't like Royal Copenhagen. However, my wife loves it on me, and I love my wife, ergo, I've been wearing it most days for nearly 25 years.

My father in law bathes in this crap. The smell gets on everything he touches. It’s a repulsive scent. Formaldehyde. You smell like a filthy seaman.

I agree. It’s repulsive and nauseating. My aunt gifted me this when I was about 12 and it made me distrust her for a long time.
