I love this song , it reminds me of my deceased wife a tragic tale , gritty , raw & real . This is song like an aged wine it rings true after living a long life and its bitter & sweet at the same time . The power is not there in the voice but the maturity is & it enhances the original song 50 years ago , it's like light at the end of the tunnel , thanks Joan for all the memories .
Each time I catch a glimpse of these old-time musicians in their later years performing, I am reminded of how it all catches up to each and every one of us....age! Joan's eyes, her countenance, seems to me unsure; tired, almost desperate, though I also see some confidence here and there while she sings....and then near the very end where she lets out a smile, puts some humor out. She reassured me that she still has it in her which the audience also picked-up on and let her know. So very nice to see and hear this video, my first time watching and hearing. There's hope! Thank you Joan!

I agree with everyone in these comments and I listened to Joan in the 70s...I was young and took things for granted....today I humbly listen again and feel the depth of the words and cords of this amazing artist...then and now even more relevant. She is not properly appreciated for what she has contributed to music, popular culture, elevating women in the most positive way and a powerful sense of morality and ethics. Truly an inspiration. Her guitar playing is also vastly underated.

Rock history, but both LEGENDS I saw her 6 yrs ago, front row, the voice coming out of that tiny woman blew me away. I always loved het, but of course was drawn to Dylan, until I actually saw her, she is AMAZING. The voice has took on the years. the range is limited, but I actually prefer the lower register.
