Now parents can't even advise kids to pursue higher education since most end up jobless. I remember in the late 80's and early 90's, we didn't have such high unemployment rates but we only had a population of 30 million. Our population has grown to over 50 million but our economy hasn't. There's something very wrong with this picture. I've suggested something that could help ease this problem. Kenya should try and collaborate with countries with low population but numerous job opportunities to create an easy path to migration for work. America and other developed countries do this all the time especially with farm labor and seasonal work in the service industry. This benefits both countries and their economies

The deficit of trust in the government is caused by decades of corruption which has worsened in this regime. How many billions worth corruption scandals in Kenya have resulted in the culprits getting away with it? Without accountability, it will be difficult to accomplish anything or convince the citizens of their goodwill. All this apprehension about additional taxes or debts is because citizens know a lot of it will be stolen.

the president not enjoying the presidency if parliarment is not in his favor is a fallacy. The president of Ecuador was able to do it without a majority in Parliament during his first term turning his country around from the most dangerous country in the world to one of the safest. This is despite the fact he was surrounded by the most corrupt officials, no support from the international community if anything they worked against him and constantt threat by the gangs infiltrating the country. He did that in 3 years, his first term. Its all possible. We need servant leadership and level 5 leadership. If the president fails he has to look at the mirror, and when he succeeds s he has to point to the window and say look there they did it. He has to surround himself with the right people not skunks. Its a democratic nation, alivua nguo inabidi aoge ama aondoke . Either way he is naked.
