I'm not into her style of music but it gave me some respect for her, when she dressed up as an über-nerd for that Creep song with The Island (girls and women tend to be more uncomfortable looking silly/unattractive than men, so that showed confidence and humour). Then when I saw her responding "Not bad" to Ben on this video, I respected her even more. Now the question is whether or not the most recent dose of respect will be cancelled out soon (by her taking back her goodwill, due to vitriolic loudmouths demanding hatefulness from her, cause no lightheartedness is allowed with "the enemy"...) I really hope she doesn't falter.

It's really Ben & he wrote his own verse. Ben had a lot of fun with this. Ben actually suggested a rap song together when he interviewed Tom like 8 months ago. Tom said 2024 was going to be wild😂.

Its really Ben , he wrote his own verse.
I don't know why people keep saying this. Check the writing credits on the song. It only lists Tom. Neither Ben or Tom have said Ben wrote it. All Ben said was Tom did the heavy lifting on the song but I rapped it. Tom always gives writing credits to people featured on his songs when they write their own verse.

@@Kidlitwriter it would be bettr to say he wrote it but didn't formulate it. Ben put the words down and tom organized it for the rhyming scheme etc. Of course, that's just my speculation.

Nova did a fantastic job putting this video together since Ben and Tom were not together for this shoot. Tom was in California and Ben was in Florida. We don't notice that after Nova works her magic. This video did hit #1 on Itunes worldwide after just five or six hours after it was released, but getting the powers that be to allow it to be #1 on Billboard is going to be a lot harder.
For his first time ever doing a rap Ben was really good. I wasn't expecting much when I first watched it but I was blown away! #HOG

Ben's 'OMG I'm really doing this!' stance was funny and the lyrics were a smack in the face to some of the nasty crap rappers put out. There is evidence that RUclips and some of the other platforms have been manipulating the algorithms to depress it's ratings. Hopefully this bites them in the butt. This isn't AI, Ben is really doing this and talks about it.
The split screen just remind me you guys no longer live by each other and is a bummer, but I am glad you guys can still make your show work. This song was epic! With Tom moving more political I don’t think he had a choice. I think a line has been drawn in the sand and we all have to pick.

But by pulling it off, Tom has just introduced himself to tens of millions of potential fans, since Tom and Ben ate practically clones in their stand on issues. And look at the views. They did more in two days....over 5 million views, which Tom might do in a week. And they are not talking just a genre #1, they are talking the TOP 200, which is worldwide. Props to Ben and Tom.

Tom wrote Ben's verse based off Ben's tweets. People will tell you Ben wrote it, but in the writing credits on the song, it only lists Tom. And Tom always gives features credit when they write their own verse. Fire song, fire beat, fire hook. Ben did better than I expected.

Dudes, Ben raps SLOWER than he talks AND he is a concert musician so he is proficient at rhythm. He did it all. And his original version was VICIOUS and had to be toned down. Really want to see that version, but LOVE this one.
Ben wrote his part! I just love that! Cause yeah rapping isn't his thing. But, isn't it actually kind of? And he's a trained musician and a professional writer and very intelligent so there's no reason he wouldn't be able to write his own bars ❤
