He receive President awared.In his way of musical journey he was first at kolkata Tansen Sangeet sammelan.Sri Chaudhuri is"A"grade artist in all india radio and he was also staff artist at All India Radio.

Born in an illustrious family musicians, Sutanu Roy is one of the foremost
Percussionists of India today. Having initially received training in playing
tabla from Late Sri Dwijen Ghosh from in Farukkabad Gharana,he has since
then been receiving talim from Pt. Swaraj Bhattachariya till date in the
lucknow Gharana. Now he is taking association Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri . Sutanu Roy has earned "SANGEET PRABHAKAR" , "SANGEET BISHARAD", "KALA NAYAK", "TAL BADYA MANI".
Sutanu Roy is a performing artist taking part in various classical
Musical programmes in playing tabla with well renowned classical artists
Like Late Pt. A.T. Kanan, Late Pt. Kalidas Sanyal, Bidushi Sunanda Patnaik,
Pt. Amiya Ranjan Bandopadhyaya, Pt. Ullas Kosalkar,Pt, Kamal Mallick,
Pt. Amalendu Choudhury, Pt. Shyamal Chatterjee, Pt. Dipak Choudhury and
Pt. Partha Sarathi Choudhury.
In solo performance and in accompaniment Sutanu Roy also takes part in various classical Musical programmes & many other conference with warm applause.
