I had a haircut at Cliff's - the nicest guy you'd meet. How much do I owe you, you'd ask. "Whatever you feel comfortable with..." Wow, I never forgot that.
Was in Vegas the other day and actually had a chance to stop by Cliff's for a shave. Damn that guy is cool as hell. He had a big TV with DVR'd country music concerts playing, and honest to baby Jesus gave me the best shave I've had. Soft spoken, but funny guy and his shop looks like the video. And of course, he wielded the shears on other patrons. Cliff is a gangster!
I live in Las Vegas within walking distance from Cliffs. I have been going here since I moved here 6 years ago. Every-time I am greeted with a free soda, a classic movie or cops playing on the Huge movie screen, and a nice sense of relaxation. Cliff always cuts my hair and gives me an awesome shave. I just stumbled across this video and am going there today and reminding him of it. Nice job!
I'm not sure if I'm the target audience, a woman in her 40's, but I consider your videos as a collection in the anthropological study of hair cutting. I like seeing different techniques and approaches to something seemingly so simple as reducing the length of one's hair. A graduate student somewhere is using your videos as a research tool...
I'm not an anthropologist but a history student and... yeah im pretty sure someone will. Im not very into the history of the body but this is a very intresting idea for something in that area .-. I've seen stuff about tattos, scarification and obviously haircuts but haiiCUTTING never and it must be super intresting.
"I like seeing different techniques and approaches to something seemingly so simple as reducing the length of one's hair" in the 90's we used to call people like you F*******
One of the best ASMR video on RUclips. It has everything. Razor, scissors, shaver, dryer sounds. No other voices, no talking, unique barber style. Thanks Harry.
My father has been a barber for 51 years and I have worked beside him the past 20 years. Barbers today aren't taught these classic techniques. Keep up the good work Sir, you are a true professional in your field.
Thanks to Haircut Harry, I learned about Cliff and his barbershop in Vegas. I happened to be in town and just so happened to be in need of a good cut -- Cliff definitely deliverered and he was such a nice guy. I'm glad I got the chance to stop by and experience it myself. Hopefully I can drop by again someday!
Never seen that straight razor technique before; the skill with that big scissor, I was breathless when he cut around your ears and the scissor slinging was a great touch; The Scissor Slinger!
WOW I just realized that this shop is 3 blocks away from where I live! I've always walked by it and never noticed it. Just looks like a normal barbershop from the outside.
I come back to this video all the time, mainly because of the sounds. I love the scissor work and especially when the clippers hit the comb. I only wish Harry was a bit shorter so Cliff would need pump the chair (a unique barber sound)
I've watched this video several times.Beyond the shadow of a doubt you're one of the most proficient and kind barbers I've seen in my life.Congratulations Mr.Cliff and keep it up Harry!
I am starting a service: water spritzer sleep therapy. I will bring my exotic collection of spray bottles as you slowly drift away to the soothing sound of my sprayers.
I saw the cowboy hat and the old west decoration and thought it was going to be some gimmick with more flash than substance, but that gentleman for sure knows what he's doing. Also, those are some SERIOUS scissors
One of my favorite videos to fall asleep to. Not because it is dull, but because it calms me down from my overnight shift. Bucket list: Cliff to give me a flat top.
Harry, just want to say you're one of the best channel out there. Not only your channel is ASMR based on haircuts, but you go to these amazing barbershop places in the world. Not only that, but the production value and quality of your videos and the efforts put into it are tremendous. Keep it up, and this is personally one of the best one yet. And, the barber should be in The h8ful Eight.
One thing I've noticed is that channels like HairCut Harry do a lot to promote an increased sense of awareness and education among people regarding haircuts. Used to be I could go to any barber and get a haircut and think nothing of it. As long as they didn't mangle my hair, everyone was happy. Seeing some of these great barbers from all over really helped me to build a universal standard, so that I can watch a barber working on what little hair I have left and recognize some basic, good, practices -- both in technique and in secondary services (like a hot towel, neck shave, etc.) These videos go a long way in taking something which used to be a boring old routine and make it something much more enjoyable -- in much the same way that learning Thermodynamics helped me to appreciate air conditioners much more! In the end, I've noticed an increase in quality of my hair (because I've sought out actual good barbers instead of the nearest chop-shop) and I actually look forward to sitting in that chair! I just wish my wife would understand why it is worth it to me to pay a little more to a passionate barber with better service than a $10 haircut from the chain store.
@ 12:23 Judging from the way this guy wields a straight razor...You missed out on a major ASMR video opportunity and a multiple million hit vid by not getting a straight razor face shave. Hint; GO BACK FOR A WET SHAVE !!!
After watching many haircut Harry videos. This man right here, is one of the very few. That has tamed the beast that is Harry’s hair. With out heavy gels or wax pomades. Man only used a dryer, water and holding spray. Skills.
A bit scary but if you keep watching for a while you notice that his movements are not only super fast but super precise with all his tools. In my opinion this is the most interesting/original video of your channel. Thank you for sharing
What I mostly love about this guy is that he's fast pace , knowing every strike is perfect 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 wow Who ever taught him how to cut or even taught himself( which is amazing), Has created a work of art and talent the world needs to see ...
This is the 17th time I have watched this. Lots of movement of arms and hands, comb, clippers and scissors, yet it doesn't appear anything is happening but at the end, the guy got a haircut. Perhaps the most amazing video ever captured. The sound of the water bottle spraying is sublime. For the 17th time, after watching this, am going to take a nap... am forced to. All that motion and commotion is, well, satisfyingly hypnotically relaxing. Video needs to be re-titled: "Harry meets Houdini". Thank you and good night.
Just had Cliff give me a haircut the other day, and it was without a doubt the best barber experience I have ever had in my entire life. Not only did the haircut come out beautifully, his shop is also phenomenal. Lots of old western cowboy antiques and trinkets, and Cliff himself welcomes you in with open arms, asking you to take a seat and feel free to grab a free water or soda while you wait for your haircut. The entire experience was amazing, Cliff is such a humble and outstanding human being, and his haircuts and barber shop is one of the best in the entire world.
Glad you had the opportunity to visit Cliff ... great place isn't it. We did film an interview with Cliff too in which I think we managed to capture his wonderful warm humble personality - ruclips.net/video/AGcf5UuiSM8/видео.html :-)
You know...I can't really say I like the guys hair style or that the barber would cut my hair the way I would like to wear it but damn this barber has super amazing skill!! The consistent, repetitive, speed of his clipping over the comb and scissoring motion is pretty damn professional in my opinion. Again I'm not really a fan of the style of the guy in the chair but I still think the barber is one of best I've ever watched.
That guy in the chair would be me!! ;-) Cliff is a great guy ... check out the interview with him we did too if you have not seen it yet: ruclips.net/video/AGcf5UuiSM8/видео.html
HairCut Harry cool man! Ya you're alright my man. No offense. I just meant the style itself wasn't really for me. But yes I will definitely check out the interview. Thank you!
HairCut Harry hello again. Great interview with Cliff. Outstanding barber and what a great guy. I wish he was my barber and my neighbor. Had a question for HHarry if you don't mind. I'd imagine you're quite respectful of each and every barber you had visited but regarding Cliff what were some of your overall thoughts or reactions to his technique and how well do you think he performed on your hair? Hope u don't mind me asking man. Have a good one!
I am not a trained barber so I can not comment on the technical details of the trade with any authority :-) For me it is a journey to find and share unique interesting experiences ... an insight to the people and places we visit :-)
HairCut Harry Fair enough. Well keep up the good work! I do indeed find it interesting and enlightening to share in those diversified experiences. I'm sure you've thought some barbers better than others but it's the experience itself that matters most. Thanks for the videos my man!
I like this style of 'No fucks were given while cutting his hair' barber. So comfortable in his trade. Those scissors look lethal, lol. Will have to look him up next time I'm in Vegas.
Lived in Vegas for a year, & Cliff provided the absolutely best hair cuts I've EVER received...I miss going here, & it's a bucket list item for me to get back sometime in the near future for one more hair cut with Cliff! I miss him & his shop!
Just stopped by while on my trip in Las Vegas, would highly recommend Cliff’s to anyone planning on heading out to Nevada! It was fairly packed when I entered (Everyone waiting on Cliff) so I went with one of the other barbers present, and I must say I’m overwhelming pleased with how it went. Very professional and understanding staff, (Asked me EXACTLY how I wanted it done and assisted me in choosing a length that suited how I prefer styling my hair).

Glad you had the opportunity to visit Cliff ... great place isn't it. We did film an interview with Cliff too in which I think we managed to capture his wonderful warm humble personality - ruclips.net/video/AGcf5UuiSM8/видео.html :-)
Cliff that is the most style I’ve ever seen. Great showmanship.
I absolutely LOVE your ASMR haircut videos! They're so soothing and relaxing especially this one. Keep up the wonderful work Harry!
by the way, I have never seen hair being cut with a razor blade.
+Matt Answine in most states you need a permit to use them on people because the blades are sharp

I like this style of 'No fucks were given while cutting his hair' barber. So comfortable in his trade. Those scissors look lethal, lol. Will have to look him up next time I'm in Vegas.
The pin-ball museum is really close too!!! Thanks for watching and your comments. :-)
Lived in Vegas for a year, & Cliff provided the absolutely best hair cuts I've EVER received...I miss going here, & it's a bucket list item for me to get back sometime in the near future for one more hair cut with Cliff! I miss him & his shop!
The scissor twirling was just *chefs kiss* perfect style points to this
7:00 is he texturing with a straight razor?
That's next level. Lol
looks like it destroyed his after though, look how fluffy it is when he's drying it
mattyoblobber I agree, but I think that was the barbers intention
@@Jckuz1man its just looks frayed and split instead of textured
I'm pretty sure he used the straight razor to get some of bulk out of his hair
I love the décor in this guy's barber shop
Just stopped by while on my trip in Las Vegas, would highly recommend Cliff’s to anyone planning on heading out to Nevada! It was fairly packed when I entered (Everyone waiting on Cliff) so I went with one of the other barbers present, and I must say I’m overwhelming pleased with how it went. Very professional and understanding staff, (Asked me EXACTLY how I wanted it done and assisted me in choosing a length that suited how I prefer styling my hair).
