Me & my husband used to even share the bills during our datings before marriage. We got married during our masters degree. It's been already 12 yrs & I contribute on our every single bill e.g. rent, EMI, Credit Card, travelling etc & also save remaining in my personal account for rainy days. We saved & also invested in our education, travelling, career & evthg. Today, we have a sweet 2 yr daughter and our dream beautiful home too. Just be friends to ur life partner. It's not healthy if girls only expect from guys. Even if u go for coffee with a guy friend, pay the bill next time when u again go with him. U get respect & dignity by it. I shared bill with both male & female friends since my school days & I feel so good.

If u r a couple u have agreed to take all the responsibilities equally. So if u r a woman reading this it's ur responsibility to contribute equally in the family economy and if u r a man reading this then it's ur responsibility to contribute equally in household chores. Your partners are not servants who are doing ur work too with their own work if they do it once or twice it's because they are sweet to u so instead of expecting that ur partner will cook for u or will earn for u, u should do that urself, cause they're not ur servant who would do it for u, once or twice is fine but if they do it everytime then it becomes a habit and that's how the concept of gender roles starts taking place in a couple.

Like u can but whatever u do ur kids learn the same, they will learn this only, if u won't change. And u aren't a gin who would be at service for everyone. I am sure u have ur own worth and would love to be served too. So stop serving and focus on ur real worth. At least give it a try

Generally a wife is reluctant to contribute financially in a house even if she earns more than her husband. According to our constitution also it's a males burden to look after the family . In real life a wife if she contributes financially will always pinch her husband intentionally

Again love to watch the wonderful actress who plays mom's role here, and MIL in 2 other films. You have a gem here. I am a skeptic and cynic about the social issues but she wants me to believe. The actor playing son-in-law in short clips does a wonderful job. And the actress playing Ananya does her job, in all the ones I saw so far, effortlessly and believably.
