Game: Get all emeralds to make a good Ending
Also game: You can't use Emeralds in Final Zones
I got all the chaos emeralds twice just because I wanted to
Is Sonic 3 a joke to you
No emeralds give the Bad ending where eggman steals the Master emerald
Chaos emeralds give the normal ending where you seperate eggman from the Master emerald, preventing chaos, but angel island can't float again because theres no Master emerald
Super emeralds give the good ending, where You destroy eggman's robots and retrieve the Master emerald and Angel Island floats again
@@gapplssb I'am talking about Sonic 2, the Special stages are more Easy in the 3 than the 2.
@@halftime919 not only are you unable to go super in the final zone against the death egg
But you also have no rings.
One of my pains is whenever I'm going on one of those moving platform segments and then I just happen to either overshoot my jump or went into it too fast, and get crushed between two of the platforms. Or alternatively the Chemical Plant 2 moving blocks and I jump into a tiny gap between the two which the game counts as getting crushed.
Or when you barely make the jump, but subconsciously press the opposite moving key to stop intertia, and fall down...
Trying to climb up the moving blocks section as knuckles is also painful

* Getting LOST in the 1st S@K Special Stage. You literally have 4 spheres to find, but you go in circles all day instead. I never have that problem in other stages....

You forgot 1, getting a Time Out just as I’m about to defeat Robotnik in Carnival Night Zone.
Even worse, hitting a checkpoint before the boss with 9:30 on the time, in Sonic 1. Time doesn't reset, so you're boned.
I mean there's a checkpoint next to the boss so does that really count besides the Carnival Night boss is easy as hell.

Some other potential scenarios for future videos maybe xD
* Spike Bug Deaths in Green Hill Zone.
* Waiting a million years while riding lava blocks in Marble Zone (Act 3).
* MISSING YOUR JUMP after riding lava blocks in Marble Zone (also Act 3).
* Chemical Plant boss knocks you into the drink (by merely flying into you).
* You fall through the Hill Top Boss into the lava because Tails fell into the lava, and hit it from below.
* Getting hit during Wing Fortress Boss in such a way, where your lost rings go above the roof (!)
* In Wing Fortress, after the boss, Super Sonic misses the plane and falls to his death.
* Bouncing THROUGH the Death Egg Robot (instead of away), and dying unfairly.
* Those friggin' Scorpions in Sandopolis!
* Almost time traveling in Sonic CD.
* Hitting a Future sign while attempting to travel to the past.
* Collision Chaos boss!!!!
* Stardust Speedway Zone generally being a clustertruck of a place (especially that high speed maze).
* You hit the very last spikes in the metal sonic race and lose as a result!
* Repeatedly falling to your death in Metallic Madness Zone Act 3!!!!

As someone who plays Classic Sonic games a lot, I can say that this is very accurate.

How about in the 2nd phase of S&K's final boss when you're about to jump into the boss but at the same Tails delivers the final blow causing you to phase through and into the abyss?

you missed literally all the mastery system games. those have some infuriating stuff in them
Don't forget how Soinc can get squished in barely tight spaces.
I experienced every single one of these. Especially the Marble Zone, Springyard, Sonic 3 Special Stages and ALL of Sonic 2.
Sonic 3 Special Stages are not that bad.
Theres one extra thing I must add
The spring into enemy situations in launch base, THATS A PAIN I STILL, CANT DEAL WITH

Also a pain: Sonic 1: successfully destroying the blocks to get the chaos emerald, then get screwed over and fall into a goal tile.

i just hate when you have like 1000 rings, a shield, invencibility, super sonic, and die because you get crushed.
Honestly, falling into the deathpit at Mystic cave zone as Super Sonic is more painful than Normal Sonic because if you have a lot of rings you have to wait like a million years for sonic to die, and you're also stuck there with no way out, not even Super Sonic's increased jump height won't save you.

I feel like I couldn't be the only one who's had a great run at the start of winged fortress as super sonic, and then the extra life sitting on top of the wing near the start of the stage (if you know how to do the easy skip at the start) falls and crushes you on one of the lifting platforms

I can relate to all of this. Since i try to speedrun the original Sonic Trilogy (and Knuckles and Knuckles and Knuckles and Knuckles and Knuckles) to this day, almost all of this has happened to me.
Funny enough, I had the same idea a long time, I wanted to name it Sonic Unfair Level Design Calamity, but, I guess someone already make it, huh? Anyways, great animation!

I can't beat the sonic 2 final boss because I can't actually damage it. If I jump at it I die instantly and the only way I can actually hit it is by either jumping on the arms as he attacks me, or hitting him from below, both of which are very dangerous and hard to pull off. I've been told it's because I'm using knuckles, but I can't even hit him from behind or when he bends down so it's not that he jumps too low, it's just that for some reason I guess the DS version of sonic 2 doesn't let you hit the main body.
