What makes it more detailed track add some scoring loops like you see on Google Earth few zoom in Richmond Raceway see those black lines on one and two. Those are scoring loops.
This looks absolutely stunning, amazing work! I've just started a school project on making a race track that goes for a semester. My biggest problem was going to be elevation and I was really starting to think I'd have to leave it out, but thankfully you posted this! I do have a couple questions though. Whilst making the stop motions, does the sheet rock mud help stop the cars from rolling downhill at all or is that a trick you do yourself? Also, what do all the different materials do to the diecast's tires and axles? When I use diecast on wood, a lot of them no longer move as smoothly. Lastly, can the clay accidentally break or come off? Thanks a lot!
