    A very big thank you for this real time not super fast,I could do with it a little slower just because I’m a total beginner beginner,but what I Really like is you repeat and repeat and count Also the added bonus of the pattern shorthand above, I’m also learning to read a pattern which is so very helpful for a beginner.so will be subscribing and look forward to watching your other tutorials 🇬🇧🙏🏽

      Thank you so much Katt. Also I was beginner some years ago this why I try make most important things clear. Where to join or how to change colours or how to count stitches for example for hats. Even for me some other videos when I watching I can't understand, just say continue but how to do it no idea. From my own experience to learn how to crochet I try make clear. This stitches what I do on the screen I do for people who do not understand English at all. In description box I have translations for different languages. But also good for any other people can stop video and still can see what need to do. Normally I write for example 2dc ( this means 2 double crochet in the same next stitch) if dc 2 ( then this means dc, dc - 1 double crochet in next two stitches) also if you need help just ask, I am happy to help. Most I making baby hat patterns people ask who making hats for charity - hospitals. But this summer I think I will start make also other things like shawls, scarves some socks see what people will ask. Just I do not do big things like jumpers. You are very welcome to my channel. ❤❤❤

      Maybe good for you to learn. I using US stitches for my patterns. US more international than UK.

      Katt, you can slow down the video by clicking on the settings icon at the bottom of the video, then click on the playback speed arrow and select the speed you'd like. Hope this helps :)

    At 3:11 I can’t make out what you’re saying. 12 double crochet in the center, or ring? Whole double crochet ? Of is it half double crochet? Is there such a thing as a half double crochet?

    • @HappyCrochetClub
      @HappyCrochetClub  2 года назад

      I did not say 12 dc. Make a ring and in the ring make ch2 and hdc stitches

      @@HappyCrochetClub thanks so much I’m new to crochet. I see now that it’s a half double crochet. I love this flower it was very easy once I got the hang of it. Thanks for posting this ❤️

      @@knittingknut I am happy to help. Also, you can change the video speed, if from the smartphone press 3 dots, then the playback speed, change to slow. If from Notebook then press settings right corner and the same, change video speed to slow. This can do for all youtube videos.
