Actually yes! It's a little hidden, but when you get halfway up the stairs, there was a walkway to take you to a lift, although from memory you only use those lifts if your villa room was located in this section. Needless to say, after climbing all those steps up to the top, I was a sweaty mess, it was so humid and tiring! 😆
Hi Elle, Nice review. We are planning to book Cliff Junior Pool suite for our August Bali stay. I wanted to know which month did you stay and was It crowded? How was the service? We stayed at "The Mulia' suites during our last Bali visit and it was peaceful and luxurious. We are travelling to Bali this Aug and confused as in to rebook 'Mulia' or try Apurva. Thanks.
Thank you! I went early March and it was perfect because it didn't feel crowded at all. I'm not sure if it was because of the shoulder season or if it's the type of place that feels 'uncrowded' all year round, because the resort is HUGE, and lot's of space for everyone to spread out across without feeling crowded. I'm thinking of going back later this year, so it will be interesting to compare the two different times of the year. On the service side of things, it was amazing. Booking in the Cliff Junior Pool Suite should allow you access to the exclusive areas of the resort, i.e. Cliff Lounge for breakfast and complimentary drinks throughout the day, and I feel the service here was exceptionally attentive. But overall, the service throughout the entire resort was great (i.e at all the restaurants, on the grounds etc, very attentive, respectful, polite. For me, it was also all about the small details, i.e. rooms would be cleaned as soon as you stepped out and headed to breakfast, so that by the time you're back after breakfast, everything was clean and fresh - I remember being impressed with how it all seemed to flow efficiently and seamlessly. I was also looking at Mulia as well, but decided on Apurva and I'm so glad I did. Just a small tip, make sure you book in all the restaurants you want to dine at as soon as you get to the resort (especially if there's specific seats you want) because they tend to book out - or at least they did when I was there. Hope you have a fab trip, and let me know how it all goes!
great video, thank you for sharing it!
Thank you for the lovely feedback!

Beautiful resort, but please tell me there is an elevator as a option to those 250 stairs? 😄
