As a new golfer this year, I can certainly relate to these. My vote is definitely for chipping over the bunker followed by short side chipping. Primarily because (for me) it's a lot easier to work on driving at the range and putting on the practice greens. Chipping on grass is just a lot harder to replicate on the mats. But if you asked me 2 months ago, I definitely would've said driver LOL. I don't hit it long still, but mostly on the fairway which feels good.
played my first 9 hole round ever recently. kept topping the ball into the void. lost 6 balls total but still enjoyed it. experienced the duality of that poll you posted awhile back. occasional good shots with bad results (hitting the dead center of a par 3 green on hole 1, but only after topping the ball into a creek on my first shot of the round.) Then also bad shots with good results (topping the ball to roll down the fairway and onto the green for a bogey on a par 3, essentially putting from the tee.). That's golf though lol. anyways thanks for your videos, kept me having a good mindset after several triple and quadruple bogeys during my first ever round.
Any shot that gives me no other option but to go over water, whether it be creek or pond. That is my most hated shot. Short sided chips are my close 2nd though. I can’t stand those. I dang near trust putting it from there more than chipping🤷🏾♂️
I hate a short-sided chip the most. What is your most hated shot?
Bladed wedge from anywhere
@@x4068Haha, same. I got away with it a few days ago but I'm going left hand low next time, putter style.
Most hated tee shot is usually the first one

A bogey on your first round of golf is great!

Thin wedges and taking too much off a partial iron. I am trying to dial in my short game and break 70 in 2025.
Chip on a steep down slope.
