Central Florida isn't much of a problem granted the storm is supposed to weaken. Issue is the coastline and bridges

People need to know, much like a major earthquake, this hurricane is a Multi-Level disaster. Those who choose to "ride-it-out" in pace of evacuation may lose their lives and I suspect many will. Emergency services will not be available until after the storm passes, although I can guess that they will not then be available either as the emergency response entire system will be overwhelmed by those who refused to evacuate. Get out and live or you may die, you choose.

This is Florida’s Hurricane Katrina
Which really sucks. The bad news is that lower categories don't mean less damage. For example, the Bhola Cyclone of 1970 was a Category 3 hurricane that killed between 300,000 to 500,000 people and roughly 701 million dollars in today's currency, and the Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900 was a Category 4 with 6,000 to 12,000 people dead with over 700 million dollars in damage.

I'm in Florida hurricanes shuffle and turns so I can only imagine the water level here. The amount of water is the worst. Many times when we prepare nothing happens. So this time it's a wait-and-see. I've been here 37 years. Same experience heavy winds and high waters.
