Exactlyyyy !!!
Yes! 😁😁
YEPPPP
Hahah yes😂
Wow you are really the first to tell how to make a preset AND how to sell the preset!! thank you . you are awesome
well done sir. I just started my photography website and was thinking of selling presets. Went on youtube and you are correct ahaha no else is doing a tutorial on this. 2 YEARS LATER!! If I make a legit youtube channel, I'm sorry but I gna have to make this tutorial. Love this and very helpful!
Thank you for this tutorial!
You are very welcome, Kandee.
2 years later, more relevant than ever. Great video 👌🏻
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Thank you so much for creating this video. May God bless you! ❤️
40 seconds in.... THANK YOU ! It was hard to find a video on how to make and sell the presets!
Really glad it helped you out. 😃
Thank you so much it helps a lot!!!
Okay, my favorite part is the end🤣😂 subscribed
Hahaha!!! I totally forgot about that. Gotta being back all my outtakes in new vids. 😂
Very informative Tutorial, thanks. But can you please do a Tutorial on how to do the same process but with a Phone? Can this be done with a Phone? I will appreciate a reply.
Hi cool video!! This process will work for mobile phone as well?
Thank you so much I really appreciate it.
You are very welcome!
Kevin, great video! Thank you. How can you sell your presets directly on your personal website versus directing people to an external site like sellfy?
You’re welcome. You could do that with Stripe and a few other plug-in integrations or use Shopify for your web platform. Other platforms like GumRoad also offer embed codes for you to add you your website.
Thx for the quick reply!
Can we do this using the mobile app? Its saying I have to pay for the desktop but i already pay for the mobile app so it would be convenient to be able to do it there too!
this was so helpful!! thank you. love your energy!
Thank so much for the kind words. Glad it was helpful.
Love the extremely positive friendly vibes. Very informative video.
Thanks Dom!
Great video! Thanks for the help!
Hey! This video helped me out so much, thank you!!!
Very cool. Thanks I’m interested in creating and selling these presets
Hey! Thank for the great video. Do you think that I can do this through the Lightroom iPhone app?
Such a great tutorial Kevin! So informative and a few questions I had after watching the video were all answered once I went through the comments 🙌🏻 thank you!
Rad! Glad it was helpful. 👊🏼
I made a bunch of presets and have made a decent amount of sales thus far, mostly from Instagram. I'm currently branching into RUclips to teach people how to make money on presets. It's a lot of fun.
Right on! Great call on jumping into RUclips.
@@KevinFremon thanks 👍 Instagram has made it impossible to grow - is RUclips just as bad? Because IG is currently crushing people who don't pay for promotions on their content. It's a real bummer.
Excellent video!
hi, Kevin! Thanks for uploading this type of content, you really helped me out! but I have some question, what font did you use when showcasing your artwork of lightroom preset? the "before" and "after" font? and where did you downloaded the font?
I LOVED IT. This is a really really good video. Thank you so much!
awesome video was super helpfull. thank you.
I've been looking for something like this forever!! You the man!!
By the way, do you might know any sites that pay the person to edit their photos?
AMAZING TUTORIAL 🤩
Loved this video, thank you!
Hello :) thanks for this! Quick one, I followed all the steps but ended up with a blank xmp. file ~ what could I have done wrong for that to happen?
Candibod it sounds like it might be your export settings. I’d check that first.
This was awesome. Thanks so much for these steps! New subscriber!
wow. I am late to this upload but this helped me a lot as an aspiring photographer. I will definitely keep this in mind when I am creating my presets!
Right on! I know a bunch of photographers who have made some decent money with it.
Kevin one important question. Any suggestion where I can find free stock photos without fiters and edits that I can use my own presets on them and later sell it?
pixabay is a good one!
THANKSSSSSSS for making this video!🙌
Marie Con Acento you’re very welcome!
Great tutorial Kevin!
I was wondering, can you use stock images to promote your presets? I love photo editing and would like to sell presets, but I don't have that many high quality photos taken by myself, and having really good photos makes a big difference.
Yep. You can. Just make sure you license the stock photo so that you're all good. :)
@@KevinFremon that's good to know, thank you! :)
I'm not a professional photographer, but I dabble in it whenever I travel. I'm familiar with editing photos in photoshop but I want to get into making and selling presets. Any advice for a person that only knows the basics of photography?
Mally Kay very cool. My main advice is to get familiar with Lightroom for color editing if you want to start selling presets.
Kevin Fremon Thank you🙌🏾
Hey man, in premier pro i figured out how to do slow mo smoother than twixtor even at 24fps. Something I actually mistakenly did. Should I sell it as a preset or is there a way to make it a plug-in?
Hi Kevin! What screen recording software do you use ?
It’s called Screencast for Mac and it’s dope! Super simple to use too.
Thank you Kevin, this was awesome!!!
Nice video, can you sell your preset using mobile?
Can you do this same process for desktop (xmp) and mobile dng to include on the zip?
How do you make this videos ? What app to show your computer screen video like this??
Do I need to have an LLC before I get involved on this front for Liability protection or is it pretty simple to skip that part.
Nope. You don’t for this sort of thing.
thanks for this kevin! been interested in getting into doing something like this :D
MILES THROUGH THE LENS you’re welcome! I’d definitely recommend giving it a go.
Hey man, i loved this video. Just a question: how much money do people charge on average on selfy? Asking because of the 30 bucks a month, and generally interested. Keep up the work!
For a Lightroom preset pack people typically charge around $20 for the download. What you want to do is have multiple products up there so you can easily surpass that $30/mo fee for the platform.
@@KevinFremon Is this achievable? As in do people actually buy these packs often? I'm a starter so I'm sorry for all of these questions haha
@@bainesontoast5558 depends on the quality of what you create and how you’re able to market them really. If you have a decent following on IG or even set up IG ads to promote them, you can do quite well.
But it’s something you’ll have to work at for sure.
Did you delete your sellfy account? I don’t see your presets in the link in your description
Hello Kevin, what payment methods we can use using this website to sell ? Do visa and master card work ?
Yep. Those all work on that platform.
Love the outtakes at the end :D
YlikeThis thanks dude!
Thank you so much for your response. Last question I promise! Some presets I have purchased have the most awesome download process. You click the link and that blue-ish gray screen opens up that right in the middle says "open in Lightroom". Do you know how to save in order to have that happen? The best I can do is when you click it opens that same screen but you have to look up and to the right for the little box with the arrow going up that you click and then are presented with choices of which app to open in. I've asked others and nobody knows. Yet, I have purchased presets that do this and it's so easy. thanks again!
Full Twist Print I haven’t seen that process myself but it sounds cool. If you find a good example, send it my way.
@@KevinFremon I will snap a screen shot. Where do I send it? I don't think you can attach an image here.
Couldn’t sleep and ended on your video. Now my mind is racing, so not going to sleep anytime soon.
I’m like a shot of cold brew straight to the veins. 😃
@@KevinFremon Well Said, Thats How you where!
Awesome video 💯🙏🏾
appreciate you big dawg
Nick Lumarque thanks Nick. 👊🏼
Hi Kevin! I am new here 🇧🇷. I just love your tutorial, I appreciate that your shared this content with us! Could you please help me to understand if the “before/after” subtitles of the “digital store” is automatic or it was something you add previously on the images you have uploaded? Thank you again 😙
Hey I just watched the video and I followed every single step, but these are not for the mobile version? if someone purchases the preset he will not be able to import it on her phone app (lightroom) ?
Does this work for desktop an mobile ?
Love this only thing is with sellfy can't make sales on the free trial literally unable to sell anything it's just for aesthetics so you have to pay with no idea how / if things are going to work out.
How do i export presets on lightroom mobile iphone?
Do i have to make the mobile presets on the app? Or could i make it on the desktop ver?
Can I do this with my phone ?
this preset you created, work with mobile and desktop? or do I need to do something different to work on mobile?
thank you for the video, +1 subscriber
mateus pollonio Primarily presets work best with desktop as there is a whole different process getting presets over to mobile Lightroom. Thanks for the sub too!
This is perfect!
Thanks dude! 👊🏼
do the presets have to be created on lightroom desktop in order to sell them as mobile versions? or can they be created and zipped from the mobile app & exported to sell that way?
Kevin Fremon Hi! do i need to have a own business before i start selling them, you know so i don't caught up with taxes and other stuff, and is this good for like students that are good with doing their own presets?
After i save the presets and zip the files, unzip the files it appears just the xmp files, not the dng. What can i do to appear the dng files?
How do you add a photo to each preset so when you open the zip file in your computer, there is a photo representing the preset and not a white basic photo, if you see what I mean ahah ?? thanks
Amazing video, you really helped me, btw I have question when I upload preset on sellfy, and when someone want to buy it, will it works how as a lightroom pc as a mobile, I mean do that person need firstly download it on computer then on mobile because it's a zip file or person can directly download it from the store to the mobile?
Cantona's Pride so glad it helped you! For the most part presets only work on the desktop version (I think). There is a way to get a preset into your mobile app but it’s a bit complicated of a process. Not just an easy download unless Adobe recently changed something.
@@KevinFremon wow that was soo faast
thank you Sir
@@ATComps I'm a time-traveler. That helps. LOL. You're welcome. :)
This was SUPER DUPER useful! One question though, how would someone download the .zip onto Ligthroom Mobile if they're downloading a .zip file? Just subbed!!
Glad to hear it. Downloading for mobile Lightroom is a bit of a different process. I need to do a new video for that one. Thanks for the sub Joanna.
@@KevinFremon Would love that!
Do you have a tutorial on how to create presets for Mobile Lr?
Not at the moment.
Love your video!
One thing to ask , is that possible that person A purchase the preset and share it to person b,c,d etc? Is there anyway to avoid these kind of issue?
woohoo glad you liked the tutorial! Good question. Unfortunately, with most all digital downloads there isn’t anything preventing someone from sharing the zip file. I like to think that most people are good, but there are a dirt-bags on the planets. All and all, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Kevin Fremon thanks for your prompt reply 😍🥰
Kevin Fremon be safe and stay healthy 🌞
woohoo you too! 💪🏼 (el bump)
Can you actually make a presets and sell it thorough your iphone? If yes, how?
Marwah H.Omar you can make a preset with your phone. But getting the files to zip up and sell is where it does work just from your phone.
Hi Kevin , if someone buys a preset from the store, can they change the preset image to what they want it to be without any of the filtering being affected?
eh it says .xmp files can’t be previewed? ... and doesn't open as dng file.
Hello Kevin I can make a preset to sell from my Lightroom mobile or I need to buy Lightroom on the laptop to create and sell?
Dariela Robles you can only create and export them using Lightroom For desktop so you can access the files to sell.
Learning :)
thank you for this Video. I want do do this :-)
Can you make a tutorial of the same thing but doing Lightroom cc?
lovely
It says your preset products are no longer available
thank you
Emre Eryilmaz you’re welcome
Thank you Kevin!
I dont have lightroom yet (I've only worked with it) but have a colleague who does have the program.
Would I need to download and sign up with adobe lightroom, in order for me to have permission create presets and sell? Or do you reckon that I could equally create presets, export and sell using someone else's lightroom program?
Nezirey hey!! Nope, you don’t need to download it. You can use your colleagues version to create them and then get the presets files without an issue.
@@KevinFremon Awesome! Thank you so much for the guidance *
Nezirey you’re very welcome!
im super confused, do people send there photos they want filters, or r they buying random photos you have filters, im so confused
You create the filters for people to download and use themselves.
Can i make it as a .RAR file instead of .ZIP?
Hi Kevin,I have one question. Can I sell presets in .dng file on sellfy, for mobile lightroom app?
Sandra Uvodic presets don’t work the same for Mobile Lightroom. There is a whole process to get them loaded in. Unless something has changed since last I checked.
Can you sell a preset to someone there only have the free lightroom version on their mobile?
Alberte Rosholm yes I buy a lot of presets and I have free Lightroom on my phone
Sorry, will I upload folder of presets or preset by preset?
Cantona's Pride you want to compress the folder with all the presets so it’s a zip file. Then upload that.
@@KevinFremon So when someone downloaded dng file all photos will be added to lightroom at once_
Cantona's Pride yes, all the presets will be downloaded at once.
anybody know how to do this on iphone?
Can I use the presets I’ve already created on the Lightroom mobile app?
CURL CODE this tutorial is mainly for the desktop app. I’ll do another for mobile at some point soon.
Thx bro
How to create a DNG using mobile phone?
sir can you give a link to download lightroom in pc?
Cant sell digitals products because the free plan doesnt include them...
Hey Kevin thank you for this awesome video! Why do so many other videos tell you that especially if you are going to sell your preset, when you export/create the preset that you should in fact UNCHECK the white balance and exposure, or as one famous photographer said in a video I just watched, he said you should un-check anything that is in the "basic" section. Any presets I have purchased have lots of stuff going on in the basic area. I understand that fundamentally people's pictures are very different so if you have the exposure set, it might work on 50% of photos. But if I un-check everything in the basic area, what are people paying for, just color and clarity etc? Feels like you'd miss a lot if nothing was checked there. Kind of a circular argument. I've actually never bought a preset that looks great without a lot of tweaking.
Hey! Thanks for dropping a comment. Glad you liked the tutorial. Since white-balance and exposure can have a pretty drastic effect on photos I think it's smart to leave those alone and up to the person using the preset. I do agree with you that BASIC shouldn't be un-checked all together as there are some helpful settings like highlights, shadows, etc. However, most of the preset options should be in the other color settings below. At the end of the day, I say use your best judgment and test on a variety of photos of your own. :)
Where can I purchase photos that I can use to show the effects of the preset I’ll be selling?
Mally Kay ideally you’d take these yourself. However take a look at Unsplash.com since you’re not selling the photo their license may do the trick but check it out.
Kevin Fremon Thanks again.

Is there a rule that says that RUclips videos today NEED music in the background?
