    Clean DAILY? If I have to quit my job to avoid dry air, I might as well move to a warmer and more humid climate.

    which one is EASY to descale?

  • @tsinc
    @tsinc 5 лет назад

    Unfortunately this may happen because of mineral buildup. If I'd know that it should be cleaned regularly maybe would have prevented the overheating that blew the fuse.

    How to reduce bacteria on a ultrasonic humidifier? Does boiling the water helps? Any other ways? Thanks

    • @Daniel-fi7jp
      @Daniel-fi7jp 5 лет назад +8

      This is a little late, using boiled water is helpful but may cause sediment to build up. The best way to reduce bacteria build up is to use distilled (not spring) water for filling, in conjunction with cleaning the reservoir of your humidifier

    If you need to store the unit in a dry place, then under your sink probably wouldn't be the best option lol

    Some ultrasonic travel humidifiers use a regular, convenience-store bought water bottle as their "tank" (for example, bit.ly/1Pelnnx). Does that take care of the bacteria problem?

    I live in Norway and "Hard water" is insane to me... Can you drink it? Is this why bottled water exists? When i want a drink of water i turn on the sink and drink. The water comes from the lake a couple of miles from me.

    • @billionairegirltobe
      @billionairegirltobe 8 лет назад +9

      Hard water is isn't bad. It just means that it has more mineral in it then "soft water", which has mineral. It still safe to drink depending on the mineral. For small appliances however the mineral can build up in the machine which can affect its ability to work well

    Don't Use Ultrasonic Humidifiers personally [hygiene] they only make a waste product dampness which is swooped off direct to the nearest compost pile for processing to rejuvenation. The way the ultrasonic type misters vibrates and ejects the moist substance used is the same as atmospheric tumbling and that is a kind of backwoods, non human air in cycle which is pumped off in the daily process. All you are doing is suppling the air you breathe with waste type humidity.
    The scientist which did this wasn't very observant, check it out, it actually 'runs' from your hand down to the floor and then it 'creeps' out of your house, somehow.
    Damn Martians among us.
