Also, a vocal tip I learned in theater: avoid dairy products. Your throat gets coated with a film from milk and ice cream, limiting your vocal capabilities.
I really appreciate that you included the volume specifics for my own voice and for the music. One of the things that has always held me back is volume leveling. I am hard of hearing so it can be hard for me to tell what levels would be good to start out with so this was helpful.
This was an excellent tutorial. I plan to start streaming as a vtuber in a few weeks, and this was exactly what I needed. You avatar is awesome by the way. Leather jackets are the shit.
You forgot the most important step of all, Yuma. First and foremost, turn your computer on! But really, nice tutorial. We need to get you that Wheat Thins sponsorship.
Hi Yuma! I heard about your page from another vtuber who spoke very well of you. I'm going to debut my models this weekend and this seems like such a fun and inviting community. Just wanted to say hi 🤜🏾🤛🏾🙏🏽
Aw thank you! I can't believe I have that kind of reputation LOL That's super flattering! Hope your debut goes well :D Definitely join us on Discord and promo yourself there when you debut!
This is great! Thank you! Is there a specific version of FaceRig too get to use custom 2d models? Trying too switch from Luppet to Facerig but not too knowledgeable about it all.
I believe I understand everything here, however. I don't have enough money to get a pc setup and have settled for a laptop. I have seen comments referring to have a pc and a laptop on side, which I cannot do. Tips?
Hello Yuma! Thanks for the guide! I was wondering why you prefer to use a music player rather than using it as Media Soruce in OBS? My Groove Music doesn't seem to loop nicely at Repeat One but works nicely on OBS?
To be honest, my main reason for using a music player instead of the bgm built into OBS is because it's muted (I don't have it outputting back at me). I like to hear my own music too aha. Plus, I might forget that the BGM is on and play something else, like in-game sounds and music. I don't want the in-game music to clash with the bgm.
@@YumaYamano I also have that problem where when I use an Audio Source and Monitor it so I can hear it, Since I'm monitoring it, the Desktop Audio causes it to echo. The only problem is when the audio loops, it cracks lol! Not sure if it's the player or my PC or the mp3 file itself
I've thought about becoming a V Tuber for the past 2 days. The whole using just a webcam doesn't work for me. Actually I get a lot of racial comments when people look at me (Many streamers who've I collab in the past told me they don't work with Asian males). I don't mean to sound dark, but I do play a lot of JRPGs and Nintendo stuff xD Very helpful video! I'll report back within a month to show if there's any difference :D
The work load does get pretty intensive but if you can get your hands on a laptop on the side, you can manage a dual PC set up and it helps with all the processing.
Also, a vocal tip I learned in theater: avoid dairy products. Your throat gets coated with a film from milk and ice cream, limiting your vocal capabilities.
This is a great tip! You're totally right :D

Very helpful tips! I should play this while I set up for my streams! :D

I'm going to write this on a sticky note.
Hello fellow vtuber what app did u use to create your vtuber?

i make my avatar but i dont know how to stream it in twitch can you help :(
What's the best face capture software that is not run by stem?
For 3D models:VseeFace and Luppet
For 2D models: VtubeStudio
could you do a tutorial/expanation on discord hopping avatars? or head bobblys as you called them? i cant find anything on how to make those
so you really need a strong computer that's able to handle all the heavy loaded task :"((
The work load does get pretty intensive but if you can get your hands on a laptop on the side, you can manage a dual PC set up and it helps with all the processing.
Can programs for face tracking expose me or collect my private data, photo of me /video of me, etc.?
where do you see the layers ? in twitch studio or somewhere else?
Which layers are you referring to? I use Streamlabs obs and haven’t tried twitch studio
whats the chat head bobling thing called ? :o
I absolutely LOVE your character I made a character and compared to yours she looks plain
me running a potato laptop:
barely runs 1 program
my PC crashes if I use more than 1 program.
idk why but my mind automatically associates vtubers as furries, even tho i know most aren't but my mind is messed up
You forgot needing to exist prepared to get hate from people who think all vtubers are cringe and be alive
