I have auburn reddish brown hair. Now that grays are coming in, I tried the Red Raj henna with a couple scoops of Indigo, and Aloe Vera powder. I also used distilled water, and distilled vinegar with salt in the water. I heat it up slightly on the stove then let the mixture sit in covered Tupperware in a warm stove. After applying it my hair never felt healthier, and it looked more vibrant than using chemical dye as well as vegetable dye. It completely covered my grays, and looks like my original color. I got lots of compliments about my hair at work. Ever since trying it the first time a month ago. I have decided to just use your products, and have placed another order. No more chemicals, and vegetable dyes I look for natural products in everything I need to use now. I wanted to post my experience to let others know it is much better for your health, and works.
I have naturally dark blonde/ashy blonde to light brown hair and I thought I wanted a copper color, but ended up doing a strand test of just pure henna. I love it! Henna is so amazing, i'm hooked for life.
Used to dye my hair with henna for years and I loved it. But then I suddenly wanted to go blonde and so I had a few years of my blonde journey. Now I have chemically dyed my hair red again for some time but I feel so ready to go back to the natural way. This recipe seems great, I feel excited to try it 🤩
Heya (Ramadan mubarak btw!), I used this video as guidance for my recent henna experiment and just wanted to report back. Firstly, it was a great success, but i'll give some background and info about what I did (2 days ago). I first used henna about 8/9 years ago. I have very fine, medium brown hair and very sensitive skin. When I first started using it everyone online seemed to be saying I had to use very acidic mixtures to get it to work. I would use lemon juice in my mixtures and I would get terrible itching (it was so bad it kept me awake), both during the dying process and up to a week after. My hair would initially be very dry. Another issue I had was the ends and mid length would get too dark over time with repeated dying. I decided to let the henna grow out in 2020 and started using box dyes again. Several disasters later I realised I needed to make the henna work for me. Cut to 2 weeks ago when I started reseaching how to minimise or solve the previous issues I had with henna. This video definitely helped (thank you!). This is what I did: 1) No more lemon juice. I used 2 hibiscus tea bags in 600ml of hot water and let it sit for a couple of hours. I heated it slightly before adding it to the powder and topped up with water. 2) I added a tablespoon of aloe vera powder like Khadija suggested. 3) I did some patch tests on some hair I gathered from my brush and some white merino wool (I needle felt so I already had some) and added cassia in different ratios to figure out what shade I liked best. 4) I settled on 70% henna and 30% cassia and once mixed with the aloe vera and hibiscus tea I took it to bed (it sat at my feet) and applied it when I woke up. 5) I originally intended to leave it in for 4 hours, but got distracted, and because the mixture wasn't itching (it actually felt very cosy) I ended up leaving it for over 5 hours. I have a fantastically rich light auburn colour now, that i'm very pleased with, and my hair texture is just fabulous! The best it's ever been. I can't believe how soft and glossy it is, and so much more manageable (fine hair is an absolute nightmare to manage). I know it will oxidise a bit more and fade a bit over the next couple of washes, but I predict i'm going to have a very pleasing colour long term. Also, my skin hasnt dyed as much as it used to for some reason, and the dye that was left has been easier to remove (miscellar water and cotton wool). What's more, I have NO ITCHING(!) which I assume is because I yeeted the lemon juice and added the aloe vera. I plan to increase the cassia a bit when I do the roots, or leave it on for less time to avoid too much build up. I recommend anyone with fine hair and sensitive skin try the hibiscus and aloe vera combo. And try the cassia also. The consensus seems to be that it improves texture, and mine is definitely improved.
My daughter and i used your recipe. It turned out beautifully. My daughter has dirty blonde virgin hair, we let hers process 2 hrs and it was lovely. I let mine sit 4 hours bc i have light brown already colored hair. Fabulous❤

Hello there! No, you don’t have to use lemon juice as your primary, and only liquid ingredient in your henna (herbal) hair recipe. So many people would have turned away and abandoned henna and natural herbal hair care, if they thought they could only use lemon juice. Lemon juice is acidic, and can be very drying on your hair. You can add a small splash of lemon juice, if you’d like. We usually add a bit of lemon juice. The most highly recommend liquid to use is warm water. You can even use tea (any variety of your choice), or coffee brews as well (for dryer scalps be careful with these as they can also be a bit drying). Chamomile tea has become quite popular to use in henna hair recipes. We hope this helps!

Let me know what your natural hair color as typically henna doesn't strip but deposits only. If your hair is quite dark there won't be much change. Speak soon!
I didn’t purchase the aloe powder :( how long will my hair feel dry after using the Moroccan henna? I wish I would have seen these videos before ordering.
If you have fine hair, it can feel dry until your next wash because you might not have gotten all of the herbs out of your hair. If it still feels dry, definitely do a moisturizing treatment or deep conditioning treatment! That should help
Would be cool if you would have a model to demonstrate

Hello. It’s typically the indigo that reduces the copper tone. Using enough indigo will make it more brown, dark brown and even up to black tones.
Thanks! I cannot find Maroccan henna in my part of the world. What is the next best bet?@@HennaSooq
Hi! I don't want my henna hair to get to dark, is is best to only dye the roots then? & Is there a way to stop henna from oxidation after dying so it keeps its vibrant copper tone? ❤
Hello. No not really but you can add cassia to it to keep it more copper.
Hi! Does this work on dark brown hair?
Hello. Yes it does.
Wish new it before colored my hair
I have probleme with my Roots
It's Always with a Dark red and not like the rest of my hair
So wht should me i do ?
Hello. Which henna are you using from us?
What if you’re allergic to aloe vera?
Hello. You can use our hair oils except for the Ayurvedic hair oil as that's the only one with Aloe Vera on it, the rest it's safe to use: hennasooq.com/collections/hair-oils
I have dyed copper hair. The grays are coming in like crazy so I’m making the decision to go back to henna so I don’t keep drying my hair out. I also noticed the time frame for copper and red henna times vary. I want to use both henna dyes on two different sections at the same time. Is that possible? I purchased everything I need in the video and doing my hair this week. Was the free gift for all orders because I didn’t receive anything extra during my Black Friday purchase?
hello mam I have a question how can I get cherry red colour naturally please let me know thanks 🙂
Hello boil beetroot then use that red water to mix your henna let it rest 12hours before applying it

Hello. Yes, it does.
I just tried to color my hair with those products, I left it on my hair for 3 hours and absolutely nothing happen, it did not dye my hair at all, i'm so confused and frustrated right now today is 4/2/2023,
Let me know what your natural hair color as typically henna doesn't strip but deposits only. If your hair is quite dark there won't be much change. Speak soon!
Can you henna a hair topper made from real hair?
Hello, yes you. Just color the same way you would your own hair.
I have 4c hair and I want to make it BURGUNDY 😢
Hello! For burgundy tones, we recommend our Rajasthani henna: hennasooq.com/products/fresh-organic-rajasthani-indian-henna-powder
Great video. Oddly enough, the expert covers her hair. Would be amazing to see how this works on her.
So the recipe would be 50/50 Cassia and Henna?
Hello. You can check this guide to help you along the way: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/complete-guide-how-to-color-your-hair-with-henna-and-indigo/
I am allergic to aloe Vera. Do you know of an alternative I could perhaps use?
Hello. You can use amla or our Camellia oil to help you with moisture.
You said 50% parts of mortician henna and “indigo”? Did you mean Cassia? I’m confused????
henna does not work on dark brown hair 😕
It worked on mine I just used it.
🤣🤣🤣"This poor herb! " It's quite confusing the neutral henna name, actually. Why don't they just call it cassia obovata?
too bad we can´t see the colour itself
Can we see your hair, some day?
Where can I buy those products ? I'm a new subbie .

Hello. Yes, you may do so.
