    I went to Mr. Bell’s concert in Shanghai last year and there was typhoon I remember during those days. He went on stage in jeans and T shirt and I was like??? Then he explained that his suits were not with him because he switched to train in order to get to Shanghai in time and his luggage was already with the original flight. He was tired but still kind enough to hold a signing session after the concert. I shook his hand and I told him I liked the way he dressed tonight. He laughed hard. I was so so happy🤓He is absolutely charming. ❤️

    okay. jesus christ the comments about the breathing.
    so a breath can be used for technique while playing properly. it also helps keep the duo in time with each other if there are pauses in the music.
    it is also used as a cue so you don't have to stomp or hum or anything like that.

    • @ktkprincess
      @ktkprincess 7 лет назад +4

      Angel Vera Also, you know, the sustaining of life by providing o2... minor detail. No breathing=no music. Just throwing that out there.

    • @P5ych00
      @P5ych00 5 лет назад

      @@ktkprincess I think it's just that he doesn't breath while he's playing. There's so much going on in his technique that he doesn't waste time thinking about his breath when he plays.

    Great, great combination of artists on this concert.
    And since I rarely comment, though I hear a lot of these Tiny Desk Concerts, I want to add --
    Bob Boilen has the coolest office imaginable. Maybe a little cramped to perform in,
    but what a pleasure it must be to work there.

    This guy is amazing and I know I'd never be able to do what he does... BUT I really wish Tiny Desk would stop posting just interesting music and post more musicians like they used to. Back when they used to post Dr Dog... tallest man on earth... etc. I just feel they post music now for the sake of variety and being edgy. This is just my opinion, though.
